VT is super secure so it’s hard to get into a dorm that you don’t live in and luckily I had a good friend to let me in. Earlier this year one of my suitemates let in two guys that “forgot their Hokie P’s” and they ended up being robbers lol.
Here’s the Payne Hall Dorm Tour video! In this I showed a bit more of the commodities of the dorm such as the center lounge they have and the end lounges. This door has a lot of windows and is very bright. Except fourth floor is pretty dark and has really small windows. The first three floors are suite style and I think there’s 2 room or 3 room suites. At the end of the video is the suite and you can see compared to the New Res Hall East Dorm, the rooms are smaller but the common room is wayyyy bigger.
So small rooms but big common room. Like they had 2 couches and floor to ceiling windows that’s really cool.
In the traditional rooms, the closets can fit the dressers side by side and there is a sink in the room. The communal showers have 3 showers and 2 toilets. The suites had 2 showers and 2 toilets.

I'm moving in to payne hall this year in a 3rd floor 3 room suite. Are those rooms big, or are they really small compared to the two room suites?
