That Baby Doguran card is actually brilliant. It doesn’t treat itself as a Kaiju while on the field, meaning that it won't proc the negative effects of Kaiju monster to destroy themselves if you have 2 on the field, and since it's treated as a Kaiju everywhere else, Kaiju support works on it.
It may cause some ruling's nightmares though. Could you use monster reborn to bring it from the gy, if you had a kaiju monster on the field? Since it is still treated as an kaiju in the gy
@@julianoguerradecastro9810 I think that ruling is easy to figure out. The Kaiju monster don't stop you from having other Kaiju monsters on the field, they get sent to the GY if they are summoned onto the field though. My guess is that you would simply summon it, and at the point that any other Kaiju would be sent to the GY, it isn't, since it hit the field, therefore, it's not a Kaiju, therefore, it's not sent.
That ally of justice spell could have been fixed by quite literally just saying all monsters your opponent controls and in their graveyard become light attribute. Also baby dogoran is really funny and I love the idea of a sub archetype of baby Kaiju tuners
I love ally of justice turncoat. A light FLIP monster that infiltrates your opponent's side to give you advantage, he's pretending to be a worm to gather info about the enemy
It's actually a brilliantly designed card like you said being light attribute and having a flip effect to pretend to be a worm Then obviously just being a good card that nets you constant pluses if your opponent decides to flip it up or they have to spend resources to get it off the field
Looks like MD is giving people a better understanding of YGO bc a lot of these cards do a good job of supporting the archetype while not being broken. Makes you wonder if Konami even plays their own game. They probably don't.
I'd assume they have like 3 or more design teams, each with differing amounts of understanding about the game. Not by design mind you, but by negligence
Konami definitely plays their own game. They've been making so many new cards that csnt be abused as much because of restrictions. Of course there will always be those cards that are broken that konami misses, but erratas/banlists will happen. Out of like 100 new cards they make only like 2-3 of the cards as abusable which is a pretty good ratio considering theres like 10k+ cards.
Aww, my Magician Girl stuff didn't get into the video. I think the discussion about the send creature or spell/traps to the GY vs Lightning Storm was an interesting conversation.
I really like Glads so was very cool to see support that would help bring it up to a competitive tier. I wish Konami would did this for all archetypes! I think the person who made the Ally of Justice spell was wary of making it "too strong" so perhaps if it allowed AOJ monsters to activate their effects regardless of the attribute of monsters they're facing, that would boost them significantly - although being reliant on one card to make the archetype work decently isn't great.
glads are my favorite archetype and the fan creations got me really excited. rudius is basically a turn 1, one card tamer editor which is really good but thumbs down has got to be my favorite of the bunch. the problem with cards like equeste and murmillo is that they have really low stats and are hard to fuse into something worthwhile. they have good effects but leave you wide open on your next turn if you don't manage to make them into a nerokius or something. alexander and spartacus are also cards with good effects that you never want to play because they're so hard to summon. basically, thumbs down lets you play cards that you typically would never consider in your modern glads deck.
5:11 I was somewhat able to read the card text before, and the zoom really helped the immersion of being a Yu-Gi-Oh player by making me completely unable to read the card, thanks.
as an ancient gear golem pet deck owner I can confirm 100% I would play the shit out of that card, I could finally stop playing prisma and getting ashed on top of losing 4k lifepoints every time I try to resolve a hero lives
I have an idea for a Heroic support card, but don't know whether it's too OP and I should make it only work with level 4 Heroic monsters: Heroic Battle Cry Field Spell "Heroic" Monsters you control cannot be targeted by card effects. You can add 1 "Heroic" card from your deck or GY to your hand, and if it is a monster, you can special summon it 3. If this card is in your GY you can banish it; add 1 "Heroic Battle Cry" from your deck to your hand If this card is too OP then any advice not akin to "just give up" is more than welcome.
10:40 it's worded with the intent that it's virtual world tuners that you need(Laolao, nyan as tuner, Lulu, and toutou as tuner). But, it doesn't say EARTH wyrm or WIND psychic, so the swordsoul token can also make it. 12:02 the token would have to be tied to the flip, so it doesn't give it away. Even if it did, what other cards go to your opponent's field face down?

Allies of Justice are hillarious as an archetype since iirc they’ve only ever had ONE card that saw actual play (the generic synchro that can crash into anything and destroy it by effect) and that was only bc it was an uncommon effect back then
I vaguely remember the AoJ hand trap thats a double DD Crow being used against Blue-Eyes in 2016 and Drytron more recently, since it can both banish a Drytron and Benten.
The only bad thing about it is that It doesn't have a field effect just a discard one, and the obvious thing that this wouldn't make sense since psy-framegear gamma isn't from a duel terminal archetype and lore.

I love Turncoat because its actually good for an Ojama deck to be the fifth monster zone blocker alongside two Princes /hj That being said you CAN actually use it as a resource if you happened to get one summoned to your field, and it's by Quick Effects that summon stuff (IP Masq and Halq), just flip it, chain them and use it + cards you have for a Link/Synchro Summon and its outed (obviously there are a million outs to it but only Quick Summon effects can use it a resource too) That being said it's actually still a cool card imo wish the Ally of Justice cards would be better overall

my favourite thing about turncoat or whatever it was is how weird the damage step with it would be. Its effect flips it face-down after being flipped face-up, so if it flips at the start of the damage step, and then back down again, what the hell happens? Does it just... double flip? Is that a thing that can happen?
I think, aside from cards that explicitly say so, only effects that affect damage calculation (i. e. alter stats) can be activated during the Damage Step. Flip effects in general activate and resolve after the Damage Calculation, so after the battle first Turnover's flip effect would resolve and then its re-set effect would trigger.
*just now re-entering the game after like 15 years* So this could sound like a stupid observation. But what I'm noticing is that the game has evolved in such a way that the mechanics and archetypes have become so specific that it seems in order to develop a good strategy, you need to know what archetype your opponent will be utilizing in order to construct your deck accordingly.... correct? Otherwise, why would you run cards that are defensive against or work around a specific archetype if you know they won't be using it? This might sound very "duh" but isn't that also kind of weird? For example... if I'm going to a random local bookstore and plan to play with random people, and my deck is specifically engineered to go against "X". Well, any random person I encounter may not be using "X". So my question is this... do you nerds just carry around a binder full of cards and construct specific decks that will work against any person you meet? LOL. I wonder how balanced this card would be: Twisted Forest of gusto. *Whenever a monster is destroyed you may choose if the destruction counts as "destroyed by effect" or "destroyed by battle". *All Monsters on the field lose 100 attack for every Wind Monster in your graveyard with a different name. * Once per turn when an effect is activated: return 4 Gusto Monster from your graveyard to your Deck to negate that effect. Gusto usually gets going turn 3 and against many decks you have lost by then.
@@rushxanthemtcg5607 @RushXAnthem TCG Idk I have played the archetype for a decent while and yeah the first effect may not be something Konami would print but it would help Gusto when it comes to their floating effects. For not helping the archetype idk how you got that. The first effect is meant to assist their floats. The 2nd effect helps taking less damage early and given gusto effects you have pretty decent control over how many Monsters are in your graveyard so you can just shuffle all your monsters back once you go for sphreez shenanigans. I mean the overall gimmick is the sphreez otk with a toolbox engine. Lastly Gusto currently has no way to deal with a lot of fairly common modern effects. Like they were underrated and decent when they came out but now half the time they are done for against a single card Decks get out onto the field turn 1. what would you suggest instead as a fieldspell that would support Gusto? Other than maybe letting it mill the deck for effects.
@@patrickbaumann113 The editor doesn't say Link material there (although I guess that was to be inferred).
12:35 Can set monsters not still be used as Fusion material?
Well yeah but Halqi is a link monster and that is not fusion summon so it cant be used as a link material
@@patrickbaumann113 The editor doesn't say Link material there (although I guess that was to be inferred).
Anyhow, the only two things to do with that monster are using it to Tribute or Fusion summon.
(Since it's always flipped face-down immediately, you can't even attack with it, unless you happen to have something like Skill Drain on the field; and in that case it can be used as any kind of material again.)
how can someone send in custom cards?
Uh tyrano destroys as cost for some reason
you can pop Petiteranodon and get a free Pankratops even after Dropplet. Hillarious.
A shame I Just figured out i was not subscribed
i have a in my opinion very funny and sarcastic arcetype idea...
all of you know the by far weakest cards of yu gi oh right? lvl 5 or 6 vanilla monsters with less then 2000 attac points
the worst cards in modern yu gi oh...
I WOULD SUPPORT THE SHIT OUT OF THEM
handtrap quicspells, overpowered trapcards, and more or less so extremly good it will dominate the meta for at least a month.
and every support card for those lvl 5 or 6 vanilla monsters with 2000 or less atc points requiers to either discard, show to your oponent or serch out of the deck (with those monsters this is a negetiv effect 🙃) one or more of the most useless monstercards of the entier game!
i love this idea
edit: oh and for the cherry on top... i would make none of the spells and traps be effectes by card effects
and the funniest shit about this? the card pictures would show some of those vanilla monsters beat the living shit out of the most broken meta deck boss monsters
love me sum possessed support
Bwuhahahahhahahahha 💀😭🤣😂

Can't see shit chief
Omg. Yubel support plleeeeaaaasseeeee. Such a garbage "archetype" for an otherwise cool card.
It's from the GX era... Many of their archetypes are really bad (OG Elemental HEROes, Vehicroids, Crystal Beasts, OG Cyberdarks, Evil HEROes, etc.)
Damn, I missed it again.
I would have supported my Custom Cards for Sparks.
If still interested, here's the Deck ID for Duelingbook: 9299297
