Growing up we had this bootleg vhs tape called "Roboformers" that had the episode with the clowns and the one with the kid whose father was killed by the Pandemonium Empire. Some years later, my brother got this 4 tape collection called "Spaced Out Japanamation" which had Starvengers, Gaiking, Grandizer and Spaceketeers. Was nice to finally see Force Five episodes in a clear format, was interesting that Starvenger's credits theme used Gaiking's intro, possibly a production error? I heard all these songs on various Chogokin compilation CD's with the japanese lyrics and they sound cleaner and just as memborable. This and Voltron were the first 2 anime shows I ever saw as a kid, thank you so much for uploading this, would love to find this tape!
Now I saw the Force Five cartoons as films that ran on HBO late on Friday nights. Later I found out that in some East Coast markets they actually showed them on regular television and each day was a different show. I had them all on DVD. They were not store bought. Back in the early 80s I made VHS tapes and I watched and loved them until I was able to digitize them and transfer them to DVD. Sadly I suffered a stroke and my family just tossed all my DVDs and my computer. So if someone could post them I would be very happy…
Well it's not exactly the same thing but 9anime has the original Getter Robo series and all the various sequels as well streaming on the site. I recommend Getter Robo Armageddon.
@@alsmith2198 it’s because Toei entertainment sucks with the licensing rules and after almost 40 years still won’t re-release in America. Jim Terrys contract ran out and that was it.
It's funny, too, because I recently watched the Getter Robo G series with English subtitles and couldn't understand why I didn't remember the ending theme, which is also pretty good. The funny thing is Terry did very few edits to the series outside of taking the singing out of the themes and leaving them as instrumentals. Not sure why they used the Gaiking theme here. Given budget constants, Terry didn't make any unnecessary changes.
I still have (somewhere in the loft) about 12 Force Five betamax tapes, in their original boxes/art work. Gaiking, Spacekateers, Grandizer, Dangard Ace and this. Sadly, only had the 'ending' episode of Gaiking though. My dad found a box of Force five betamax tapes, in a UK video warehouse (back in the 1980's). Never did see the endings to the other animes :) But this, brings back memories. That Force Five intro is iconic in my childhood
What were the episodes on the VHS? Can you upload those as well? Would like to see the episodes with and English dub like they were back in the 80s! ty
I have a older Japanese Anime Version of " Starvengers," 1970s and not the same thing as 1982 Version " Starvengers," and not the same music of 1970s to 1982 and i like 1982 cartoons and music better . I bought a bootleg Japanese Anime version at Walmart Supercenter stores of bunches of Not good quality Japanese Anime cartoon to multiple different types of Space cartoons and some i never had heard of of over 20 DVDs discs for $15 dollars in 2008 .

oddly enough, the ending music is the opening music for Gaiking.
I never notice it before. That's funny. Never paid too much attention to it. Lol

Thank you for giving back my precious childhood memories 😍
"Star Dragon GO!"
"Star Arrow GO!"
"Poseidon...GO!!"
Loved this show AND its soundtrack.
@2:35 that part gives me chills and feelings of fondness as it was engrained in my mind as a child. Beautiful...
Thanks for uploading this very nice HD intro 😎👍👍
0:00 - The flashing FBI Warning screen was also seen in porno VHS tapes made by Caballero Control Corp., VCA, and VCA Pictures VHS tapes.
The music was incredible. The old anime robot cartoons were the best. Seems like all the Starvengers episodes have been removed from UA-cam 😥
From the Japanese animation studio that brought you Digimon, Dragon Ball Z, One Piece and Sailor Moon.
Do the studios not realize that if they were to re-scan these shows into FHD or 4K and release them in box sets people would line up to purchase them?
