    Very cool. So close to ordering one even though I can't afford it! Just wondering around the midi implementation: how does it handle note off commands? So does it respect the amp envelope hold setting? Or does it act like a mono synth, so send a note off when it sends out the next note?

      Do you mean when controlling external gear? There's no amp envelope when using the MIDI instrument type. It'll just sustain the note infinitely unless you use a KIL command (essentially a note off) or play another note (it will send a note off before playing the next note).

    does it support scales? I am not good with intervals using absolute note names

      Not currently, and I'm not sure if it's on the roadmap, but I may be wrong.
      However, I don't think it'd be difficult to use in your case, as you can hear the notes while entering them.
