Tbh that guy had no guard passing skills. He didnt chain a single attack. They‘re blue belts and I dont want to take anything away from that win but with solid retention basics thats nowhere a handful to defend his passing
I don´t quite understand this. Aren´t blue belt world finalists just guys that should´ve been promoted to purple or brown belt a long time ago? I´m just curious if we are just watching some sandbaggers go at it. I would appreciate if someone could explain this to me because i seem to miss something here
This doesn't even make sense. If they got promoted to bluebelt a year ago, and made it to world finals as a bluebelt - how is that sandbagging? Sandbagging is if you're like a 5 year bluebelt who never graded but competes at blue

I just don't get why people get all butt hurt with guard pullers its part of the game if you can't figure out how to control someone on the ground then whats the point of getting the takedown in the first place
@@something3867 pulling guard and butt scooting is 2 different things. when you pull guard you have a plan of attack. you pull guard to close the distance. if you fail to close the distance then you get back up. you don't stay on your butt the entire round.
Isn’t jiu jitsu about submiting your oponent? If yes, then i dont get why you celebrating ? At the end of the match you are pinned on your back to the mat..c’mon man.
His opponent played himself by stalling three quarters of the fight while the psf guy was the one pushing the action almost sweeping him a couple times. Its not the PSF guys fault he is vsing an unwilling opponent. Its still a dub.

It’s not wrestling where being on your back is a bad position I think you might be confused on what jiu jitsu is about.
I got that. Depens wether you do it as a game or a tool for a fight. Is it ever good to be at the bottom when you end up in a real fight?
