I've always hated the way Ducatis sound. I always wanted a Ducati, but wished they sounded cooler. Tonight changed my mind.
I was on interstate 85 in the heart of Atlanta, riding my Speed Triple R with SC Project exhaust. I was doing low-mid 90s in the HOV lane when all of a sudden I got buzzed by a big red insect - flew past me like I was standing still. My bike is loud, and it sounds good (if I'm allowed to say that), but the sound of this thing was wicked. That combined with the unmistakable tail lights of a Ducati StreetFighter (also could have been a Panigale), and seeing it (barely) weave through traffic, gave me the feeling I had just been graced by a crazy high-performance contraption from some cyberpunk universe.
I'll never complain about the way Ducatis sound again. I get it now. That was insane.

I would say the Superduke in low rpm, and Streetfighter in mid and high rpm. Would rather buy the Streetfighter because it's imo way more beautiful, and I already own a 1000cc V-Twin so would rather like to try something new

Sounds great but I can never get used to the clutch noise. It sounds broken. Definitely the best looking bike out of the Ducati street fighter generations.
