I workout out full body 3 times a week and live in the south so it’s always hot. If I’m trying to preserve a style somewhat I add a wrap strip or two around the back and side to help with sweat and keep the shape and usually have a bandana around the rest
The pixie Goddess’s ( Anita Baker, Halle berry, nia long) and many other Queens have kept us in the pixie game for decades! Of my favorite styles on you this is the best in my opinion. Short cuts frame your face very well!
I love to look as cute as possible at the gym, and I too wear just a ball cap over a well brushed and shaped pixie. I could never show up in wrap strips and a satin wrap and a bonnet and all that other stuff. I've found a ball cap works just fine as long as I'm prepared to style in the morning
Hey Gurl! I have a short cut too and definitely agree that it is NOT low maintenance! If we don’t touch it in some type of way before leaving the house it will look a mess! Lol no quick ponytails for us!😂 Get a hand mirror, then turn around and check your back through the large mirror in your bathroom. That’s how I check and sometimes have been very happy when I do or else I’d be looking a hot mess in the back!😂

I workout 5 days a week with 2 days off. I've decided to try braids at the top and back with shaved sides. All that wrapping everyday is getting on my nerves.

I have itchy scalp and plus I sweat alot especially after a work out...i have to wash my hair twice a week to keep it fresh and laid. Do u think the dry mold method would save me time vs. having thee hold wash and conditioner process?

My hair has changed a lot as well and is a lot thinner. I'm on my own journey of trying to figure it out. I will be getting blood work done to see if there are any indications.
Sure is Not Low maintenance!!! I had to let my pixie grow out while im prego because there is just NO WAY! I can maintain and worry about hair while im trying to focus on building a human!

It’s not low maintenance because it’s not a natural style. Without molding and using heat it would be way easier. Rock that natural texture it’s beautiful.
