Very helpful and well made video. Several suggestions. Not that it matters much but the instructions say to mount the regulator on the inside. Your way may be better because the metal around the cabinet opening for the hose is sharp and, over time, could cut through the hose. A cheap rubber grommet would be an easy fix. For safety, you should brush a gas connector sealant on the connections and test with a solution of half detergent and half water. I did this and saw an expanding bubble where gas was leaking.

@@bigwurm8314 actually I found a better solution. I took those original ones and made those holes a little bigger. Check it online and find the right size the holes I cnt remember what it was but it was just a little bigger. Good luck
If you purchased the products from them then you should call the 1800 numbers and ask if they could send the orifice for you. That’s what we did. The orifice didn’t come with or missing at the time we purchased the products.

@@ironmantorres The Home Depot SKU is 1002141591. It is called the Natural Gas Conversion Kit, Model No. 710-0008. It was $89 and contains the tool you need to change the orifices. I have a Nexgrill 720-0882A. Make sure it will fit your grill.
Well, the video is 50% good. You missed showing how to unscrew the gas pipe. You need 2 gas tools. You missed showing how to screw the quick release on, how to use proper Teflon tape and sealer. But it's ok I hope you got insurance after a few of your watchers will blow up

It's listed as dual energy. Would it still work?
Thank you for asking, here is the info: Nexgrill Evolution Infrared plus deluxe dual energy, this what we have and for the conversion kit for propane to Natural gas (Model No.: 710-0008) it's 1/2" 10ft Natural gas hose with quick connector. Your Nexgrill model number is different than our. Please ask the person who sold you the NexGrill they should able help you with the right conversion kit. Also referring to page 12 or might be different number pages, it shows diagrams of what you should have for the conversion from propane to NG. Sorry, hope this is not too confusing.
@@prestige1879 my neighbor has ~$40 adjustable wrenches that did the trick. I was astounded to see how easily they loosened the screw. My $10 wrench pales in comparison.
The NexGrill 5 model has propane orifices, we lost them during the assembling. If you need NG orifices the conversion kit should have them with your purchase as well. I called the company and they were able to provide us the NG orifices. You could try to see if they would provide one free of charge.
If you already have an NG hookup at your house, you might want to check the hookup size. The NexGrill conversion kit is for a 1/2" hookup, which is larger than the previous industry standard size of 3/8". Gotta run back to Home Depot for an adapter. Learn from my mistake!
It wasn't hard to put pins back on. Thread it sideways with two ends of pins and push in hard with hands. I know it was painful to put back on mine. I'm sorry there's no other easy way if you do let me know. Thank you for asking.

Call the company, maybe they can direct you if they don't have the orifices for your model. Make sure your model is made for conversion to NG option.

I had to use liquid wrench to get mine loose. Owning a bigger wrench would have helped.

The orifices should be attached to your NexGrill instruction assembly pamphlet. That is where mine was located. I almost didn't see them.
