Murray, I am currently in Bali & want to warn others of this scam currently in Bali targeting women. Near KFC corner at Kuta Square there are a group of males hassling people to enter there market store. Once inside whilst you are busy looking around they kick a leg holding up a display of watches etc and then blame the women for knocking everything over & requesting a damage amount of 1 million Rp $100 Australian. It has happened to 2 people staying at kuta paradiso so far and wish i caught the guy doing it on camera.
Deffinently if you're a plus size very hard to find stuff to buy. Used to be plus size shop in garlic lane for women I'll check it out in July, thanks for showing us this market.
Obviously the one that got hasseled by the Hawkers and other people showed up to get a kick up the ass,doesn't know bali as we do,just walk away,or say tidak terimikasi,to b polite,as that means no thankyou,it's a no brainer,the person must of been hassling over 1 or 2 dollars,they deserve everything as they have been struggling for 2years,and if you can afford to go on holidays over in beautiful Bali,you can give the Hawkers at least something,pull your head in and think about the poor people.
murray made a video of the rural areas of Bali... like an adventurer.... how do Balinese people live their daily lives and activities. Bali is vast, maybe people don't know about it

Never buy electronics from Bali markets good luck getting refund for anything ,I luv Bali but some hawkers are relentless and don't be fooled by there smiles ,they can get very angry very quick and a group will turn up out of no where to kindly move you on with a swift kick up the arse etc
Before covid 22 times kuta sannur gilli trawangan where I was teaching locals ari n G'day from tananog muaythai for free many hotels but my favourite is Swiss belle sannur next to cassablanca some hawkers not all 👍
