I made the viral KayteDids crochet dino pattern with faux fur yarn

In this video, I made the viral KayteDids crochet pattern, Vinnie the Boy Dino. I made several modifications, including a unicorn horn. I review the Fable Fur yarn from We Crochet in this video, as well as the pattern I used to make five GIANT stuffies for Christmas.

I can do amigurumi all day long but I'm not brave enough to use faux fur. Your makes are super cute!

I don't know that I would use fur yarn to make amigurumi. I'm not good enough for that. I love the look of them though. You did a great job!

It's definitely not for beginners, but a really fun way to put a different twist on amigurumi when you are familiar with the techniques.

I loved your video..new subscriber. I've never attempted amigurumi. I'm wanting to attempt this one for my first. I'm not on other social media but If you would let me know how many skeins used in that project asking with the hook size used to make the jumbo dino, i would gladly pay for the knowledge. Thank you so much, Terri! This pattern is by Kaytedids on etsy, so you can find the full pattern using the link in the description. I used 4 skeins of Fable Fur yarn from We Crochet (there should be a link in the description for this as well) and a 6.5 mm hook. I hope that helps!
