...and so is talking about hard things, then editing most of it out because just talking about it once was enough to make me realize it wasn't that big of a deal. haha!
Honestly, our desire to follow God is exactly what makes some decisions difficult...of course we'll follow Him, but sometimes we trust ourselves or others first. The struggle is all part of learning to hear God.
Yeah, isn't that interesting. I've used those pellets before too, and they were essentially worthless...but the hose-end sprayer of the same brand (100% castor oil) worked like a charm. In fact, it's possibly slightly better than the grocery store version, although a little more expensive unless you stock up at the end of the season. (I've noticed the same thing about "cycles"...last year it was nothing but voles...this year it's all gophers. Honestly, I'd almost rather have the voles).
I've noticed how inefficient our gas stove is/was... we recently bought an induction range. It's extremely efficient. We are also going to get a portable induction burner for camping. We need to research this, but I am amazed how efficient the induction cooking is. Thanks for your videos, Trent.
We borrowed an induction cooktop once, and it was so fascinating to see how quickly and efficiently it worked! For everyday use, I tend to agree that that's the best. Part of me still wants to adapt a super efficient design for wood-fired cooking (or some other fuel I can create here on the farm).
I love to go out on road trips to clear my mind. Wrestling with decisions is never easy, which means there are many ideas to try. If one doesn’t work then you have learned something new along the way. All the best and thanks for sharing your road trip and thoughts.
Trust your instincts. You have a great family and that’s because you relied on your instincts and the Lord. Whatever you decide it will be the right decision. Trust! Glad your back on UA-cam!
You hit the nail on the head! The source of my struggle was whether it was from the Lord (of course I'll follow God!) or if it's just my own mind or desire. I've already found so much peace just by waiting for the answer to come slowly. :)
When you said you wanted to create something what you might want to look into is a stove top wok. It has a special little pan that goes underneath it that sits on the stove and it has those little hole sore like what you're talking about and then you would set your pan on top of that that might be something that'll help you to conserve heat and gas (the wok)
Thank you! It seems that I might have seen one of those at one time, but I had forgotten. But yes, you totally made the connection, and that's exactly the kind of think I'm looking for. Thanks again!
You're welcome. I had one a long time ago but I don't know whatever happened to it so that's why I made the connection when I seen the pictures you were showing
Have confidence in your decision to wait to make a decision. Every time it happens to me it was because I didn't have to decide. The universe chose for me. Just pray for guidance and you'll be all right. 💖🌞🌵😷
This not knowing what to do is “in the air” I think. Almost everyone I know has some fairly big decisions to make with not much clear direction. I know we sure do. My husband’s job, whether to move or not- and where to go if we do, and which gallery for me to pursue. Etc etc. times are crazy, and there is so much noise that it is hard to hear clearly from God what to do!
Wow, you said it! People are feeling very lost or at least upended these days. I think it's healthy to have that struggle sometimes...to have to rely and God, and to realize again that He's really there and really does care. I always find myself wanting a clear answer before making my move, but I think (no, I know) that He wants me to prayerfully "step into the darkness" and then he'll show me the next step. (Maybe you'll end up near us in Idaho!...it's gotten expensive here though, unfortunately).
Hi Will! Yeah, painting is good therapy too...different kinds or different problems. :D (And if you're asking, why aren't you painting more on this channel...I intend to start doing that more regularly very soon on my namesake channel. :)
Commit all your ways to the Lord Trent and He will direct your paths 🙏🏻🙋🏼♀️. Thx for sharing your thoughts. God bless from Australia 🇦🇺 🙋🏼♀️🌼🌷🌈🎶

@@ArtandHomesteading So true Trent. God gives us common sense and most importantly if our hearts are right before Him, He will honour that.

Yes, wrestle is right! A "change of scenery" or a new project usually helps me. :)
Yes drives are therapy! My daughter, daughter in law and I have all said the same thing!
Car therapy always helps me to put alittle distance, so I can think clear.
Yeah, stepping away from the problem is really helpful. I do well with projects! :D
sending good vibes your way.....
Thank you. I've already been finding the answers I was looking for. :)

I literally went on my first solo car ride in weeks! Just like therapy!
Yeah, it's really nice to do sometimes. Really helps.

I've heard people say plenty of times, "God can't steer a parked car". :D Thus, move ahead prayerfully.
Tough days suck!
It's just a off day,❤
Yep, they suck. But I'm always grateful for them after the fact...sometimes WAY after. haha! :D
OMG....I just planted Armenian Cucs.....never even heard of them before.....WOW
Oh, that's great! Yeah, they're so much better (in our opinion) than the others for fresh eating!

What about the painting Trent?
