- For the last 5 years Cindy and I have been living full-time in our 32 foot motorhome work camping our way across the country. When we first started our adventure we started a UA-cam channel to document our adventures for our friends, family and six kids. After a short period of time I broke my camera and gave up on UA-cam.
Then I ran across Sarasota Tim and he inspired me to restart our UA-cam channel again. After months of watching Tim I have had a change of heart and no longer watch him but am enjoying our new adventure on UA-cam. In this video I explain why I came to this decision.

It seems like a bunch of them are in cahoots to get him to 100,000 subs!
They have dedicated their lives to this, so something is wrong.

He may be the biggest conman on the internet. He's a "minimalist" who shops at WalMart for clothes daily, buys a whole wardrobe for life in Florida, then takes a trip out west and becomes "Cowboy Tim" and needs a whole new wardrobe, cowboy hats and cowboy boots. Then he needs bandanas to put on the cowboy hats. Then realizes he bought $200 work boots instead of cowboy boots and goes into a western store and buys another $200 pair of square toe cowboy boots even though he only wears round toe boots. Now on his last video he had the bandana on his head like he was a biker. Pretty soon he'll be back in Florida for his eye doctors appt. and be back in t- shirts and flip flops. The only one who is more confused about who he is than his viewers is Sarasota Cowboy Tim himself. What's next???😎😎😎

@@SHARINGJOURNEY It's an addiction. Some people need the high of getting new things. Unfortunately it doesn't satisfy them. That leads to buying more stuff. As much as they try there is nothing that they get that ever fills the void. I don't know Tim but it seems like he is that way.

Sarasota Tim is one of the biggest phonies I've ever seen. He's all about material items and the name brands. He really thinks highly of himself. Glad Tammy got away from him. I think Tim knew exactly what he was gonna do when they went on that road trip.

Tim said in a now- deleted video that some viewer had called the Boynton Beach authorities last December to complain that Tim was living in his RV which is not allowed there. So the Boyton Beach authorities told him to leave. So on January 1, 2024 he suddenly departed and moved to Jacksonville. But he failed to mention the reason why to viewers at the time and instead said it was God's will. Just one of the many lies that have caught up to him. He also only worked a couple of hours a day for most of his life. He left his kids and never paid child support. He borrowed $60K from the government and had no money to pay it off- yet he says he owes no one. I could go on and on.

Yes I have seen that video too. Tim was mad at whoever turned him in. He was so mad at Boynton Beach he said he was not coming back. But he did manage to come back in his Bushwacker by parking it far from the road so the authorities can't see it. I guess he feels the rules are for someone else.

What I think is that Tim has No Idea how to Plan Anything....
Tim didn't Plan for Retirement - he just took Social Security Early for Income.... He Still has No Retirement Plan... When he had to Stop living at Teddy's - he started this Travel & He Never made any Travel Plans either... Tim had talked of maybe moving to Quartzite cuz it's Free - so Tim was Probably going to check that out...
But his Groupies wanted to see Sights... Tim has No Interests & doesn't bother to Learn so He has been fine at Truck stops & Parking lots... I guess he's von his way back to Florida for his Eye Appointment now.... So it's back to the Truck stops.....
His trip with Tammy and his new Co Financed Flagstaff is where he showed his true self and "Jumped the shark ". If only he used his energy & natural talent as a salesperson he could have assets, a home and a retirement plan long ago. Thank you Tim for showing us what not to be in our 60''s....Crushing it..

Reading all these comments about St is very eye-opening. After having already endured several glaucoma surgeries I tried my best to counsel him on some do's and don'ts of recovery. He won't listen to anybody about anything so I was not surprised when he woke up one morning with severe pain and Sky High pressures. He doesn't seem to realize he's still not out of the woods. But like he says we can all do us and he can do him

You’re right about ST. He’s made a couple of videos slamming Las Vegas, my home for 55 years. He came into town, drove down the strip on Easter Sunday and he was appalled by all of the people. I made several comments telling him that’s not the city of Las Vegas, people live here. I asked him what happened to meeting his subscribers? I’m just about ready to unsubscribe.

My parents retired to Las Vegas from the Chicago area for about 23 years before both passed away. They had a nice house up on the Tiers of sunrise mountain. Almost every time they were outside with me when I came to visit they would say this every time a plane came down to land at McCarran airport...Thank you all for visiting and leaving your money here and keeping our property taxes low and no state income tax!😂😂😂

Perfectly said. You spoke all true words. Long story short is he promises heads and delivers tails. I was the same. My first video was him bringing the wolfpup home. I srarted looking under his camper. It was lined with bins. The minimalist thing was a crock right off. Fast forward to the trip. When it took 4 days and help from the guy named Ben i knew he was not serious. Then the big csmper and all the bs. Pulled it home then got kicked out of bb. Pulled it to Jacksonville. That's it. It scared him. All lies from then on. His channel is dying. He is desperate.

Just fyi it was the city of Boynton Beach that kicked Dim out. Code enforcement went there and said you cannot make a camper a domicile in a carport in Boynton Beach. Teddy would have received a citation, they gave him a warning and Dimmy the boot 🥾 right out of town. And so the hobo journey began.

Tim has been complaining about his loss of subscribers. He claims the loss is a glitch in the UA-cam algorithm. The subscriber loss is actually a legitimate loss because his content has become toxic. I was one who unsubscribed.
I wonder if that is why I have all of a sudden been getting hate comments from his Minions.
I watched ST initially as I've an interest in minimalism, nomad, and FL content. My first turnoff was the volume of videos with no value or substance. He's pretending minimalism because it's trendy. In reality he's materialist. The drastic persona change with city slicker cowboy nonsense is quite peculiar.

I’m glad to hear that you came away with a couple positives. It also inspired me to start a channel to share the reality of retiring at 62 with no savings and maybe help a few people. I guess you missed the video he deleted where he admits he had to leave Teddy’s because having his camper there was a zoning violation. He never told his subscribers that. He just said he decided to move to Jacksonville because it was a better jumping off point for travel. I have a hard time trusting a man who on the one hand says he’s religious and on the other lies to people who support him.

I started watching him because I am in that retirement age and debating if retire or not. His situation was very different than many of us. No mortgage, no car payments, no debt right? Well, the moment he started buying "Stuff", Thundra, the camper, the other camper, etc. and showing off his "Stuff", from then on I stopped watching it. In addition, I am very observant, and the way miss Tammy behaved in the videos, shy, scared, dark sunglasses, barely talk, walking behind him(like I don't want people to see me with you, LOL), is the behavior of a scared woman. On top of that, she got hurt and he starts laughing!! That tells a lot about a man. I am not sure why she was with him, but thank God she left him.
As a retired cop, 26 yrs on the job, I was also concerned about their interactions. This just seemed off.

He was so unprepared for road trip and truck stop camping, he don't even understand how the gauge on the gas bottle works...

Tim was corrupted by UA-cam fame. He started to make a little money from UA-cam and he went off the deep end. He now does 7-10 videos per day; it’s all about the money for Tim. Sad story.

I stopped watching when he totally ignored Tammy's wishes on the flagstaff, shingate then disregarded subs questions about her whereabouts. Let subs mistreat ladies asking where's Tammy. Particularly Stan and Willie. That was a shady move on Tim number one, poor guy got kicked off Teddy's.
That was the turning point for me too
I felt the same way but somewhere Tim started to show a side of him that seemed he was running away from something we need to find out!

You nailed it. Thank you. I started watching him around last October. Must have been the SS video that got my attention. At that time, he was actually 'okay' to watch. At some point, my view changed about him. I felt sorry for Tammy. Also, he claims to have an 'eclectic' channel. There is nothing eclectic about him. It's the same stuff every day.

You need to send this to Tim. I feel the same as you about his quality of videos. My opinion is that he now does this just for money, and I've decided I'm not going to buy into making Tim well off. Not place to judge anyone, but I can make a choice to watch.

This happened to me also I couldn’t wait to get up and watch Tim with my coffee in the morning then the trip with Tammy he started acting like a different person the way he treated Tammy I started not liking him then the episode with her getting hurt on the camper steps and him laughing at her I was done! I should have listened to my husband he watched a couple videos with me and said I can’t believe you watch the guy he’s a two bit phony he was right!
Sounds a lot like my household. Except my wife thought I was wasting my time.

First time seeing your channel. Nice commentary and I agree with you. I just retired and I need to get myself more active and start living healthier - and lose weight - and although I'm not a liquor drinker, I drink way too much beer. Thanks for this and I can mirror your opinion of ST. Between the incessant SS videos, the eight videos a day from the Walmart, Cracker Barrel, Walgreens, Circle K and whatever parking lots, and the fact he couldn't get behind the wheel of his truck without hitting the "record" button, it became MORE than apparent that he was just saturating his channel with a ridiculous amount of daily videos for the financial aspect. Which is stupid to me. If I wanted to hear someone yacking away about NOTHING all day, I could go in the back yard and chat with my neighbor over the fence. I think he's a clown, to put it nicely. That IS being nice too, compared to what I'd like to say about "fifteen videos a day" Timmy who frankly, sounds like a typical con man.

You are spot on... it's a no wonder Tammy started running, She probably hasn't stopped yet for fear he'll catch up... He is oblivious to why she left. And it's so simple. She was tired of playing second fiddle to a camera phone, Speaking of the way he treated her, How did you like the way he always made her share an entree when they went to lunch or dinner, but they each got their own glass of water. I unsubscribed from him a few months ago. I do search on his name but it's usually to find videos like this one. This is Day One of me not watching him any longer. I may fail if I get bored but I'm tired of giving him views that he doesn't appreciate. I'd rather give my time to someone like you. Like you I thought he was uplifting at the beginning but over time he became condescending and yes belittling his viewers. You took the words out of my mouth. I know I've made some parodies on Tim but nothing I've said or shown is not the truth. I will check out other videos you have and I have subscribed.

Thanks for telling it like it is! So many of us, have left Sarasota Tim fairly critical commentary on his video content, only to get comments deleted and banned from making any more comments. The man lies about so many things. He's only looking to make a buck, and is very dishonest with his community. I'm hoping it backfires on him and Karma comes calling. He's killed the golden goose. I really like your video, I feel a lot of viewers feel the same way you do. I'm subscribed to your channel now.
I started watching Tim a few months back when he showed up on my feed. After going back and watching some videos I thought Tim and I had a lot in common.
We both had quit school at 16, both, grew up in Florida, we were the same age, he said he golfed. My first impression was this a good guy.
As I looked back on some of his videos, I realized this guy is lazy and lazy people don't get far in life. When he claimed to only work 2 to 3 hrs./ 3 days a week for 30 years that did it for me. Maybe If Tim would had worked more, he would have made a better life for himself instead of trying to scrape by.
Tim and I are total opposites. My wife (46 years married) and I have have made a good life for ourselves by being hard workers like the majority of Americans.
There are a few things that drive me up the wall.
1) People that are late
2) Lazy people
3) Cheapskates, not to be confused with someone who is frugal.
4) liars and conmen.
Sorry about the long rant.
Your rant was good, and I try to stay away from the same types of people.

I just found you through this video and subscribed to you. I haven’t unsubscribed to Tim but I’m probably going to as I have not watched him in weeks. Heard a lot of things I didn’t like about him, although you can’t believe everything you hear , his actions kind of speak pretty loudly. Looking forward to catching up on your channel, and I think I’m heading over to unsubscribe from Tim. I just hadn’t gotten around to it yet.
At least you got some inspiration at the beginning that helped you change your life to the way you wanted , it’s just a shame that he turned out to be somebody different than we all thought !

I drink beer and I am trying my best to quit I'm 55 yrs old and it's really hard for me so far been drinking beer since I was a teenager, I don't drinkem fast enough to get drunk just slow and steady sort of like people drink soda or sweet tea, man I hope I can quit my beer habit

Just checked out some of your older videos and subscribed. I appreciate content I can actually learn something from. I lost a lot of interest in ST when he started his Walmart shopping videos. The truck stop tour heading west just seems like a comical waste of money on gas. Compare the amount of effort other youtubers put into videos involving editing, etc. For instance, Big Truck, Big Travels channel has half the amount of subscribers that ST has, but the effort put into producing their content really shows. Their six month tour of Alaska last year should earn them a youtuber best travel video series IMO.

Wow You sound like me. Sarasota Tim will definitely take you on a wild trip. I used to really enjoy watching him but now man he has definitely lost it. He is so impulsive and skatterbrain. It really is crazy though just to think about how much crazy crap he does in a relatively short time. I can't take watching him much anymore.
