Think you're probably my go-to for RL videos haha that was awesome. Really surprising how easily these guys just hurl those 96s into the hopper at such a consistent pace. Very interesting to hear about the garbage system in the city. Just finished learning about Katrina in one of my classes so definitely cool to see how trash is handled in town. Any idea what other trucks Metro has? I was watching a video of a red MR/7000 collecting in downtown and thought that was also from Metro but turned out to be a different company. Seems like there's some pretty cool trucks out that way! Great job Scott
wow. those guys just re-defined the word “efficient”. I’ve only seen one other guy be able to throw carts that fast, he’s this crazy kid who moved to Colorado just to be a trashman. great sliding-around action as well, it’s like ESD but way better.
You've been delivering the goods lately Scott, bringing a lot of the real entertaining residential RL action, quick stuff and no bullshit. Love the constant moving and all the manual lifts, dunno how heavy those 96s are, but looks like feathers for these boys. Enjoyed watching the push-backs on the road and spins up onto the verge, if they landed good, if they fell tough shit... was kinda waiting for them to just land them in the middle of the road and run off to the next one :P Forgive me for being so sadistic, but couldn't help imagine George tripping at 1:35 and doing a mad face plant into the road lmao =] Bloody hell he almost lost it at 1:45 too, lucky recovery that one, don't want to get crushed by a trash cart ey! That team lift at 3:37 took my praise, yeh the boyz! Almost looked like they were getting ahead of themselves at times haha Driver just taking off down the street at 5:45, almost seems to floor it off and nearly miss another cart after that one haha Real nice looking truck too, the Goliath body looks like a total weapon, and as much as I reckon that packer design is sweet as, might've been slowing them down and inconveniencing them at times... looks like these guys needed a wide sweep from a high elevation kinda blade.
I forgot about this. If they or Richard's had some 2 man trucks so I could have something to do other than hold the steering wheel my ass would be there right now. $14 an hr grinning like a fool.

As a collecter(hopper) you dont want to be out there long/all day and plus the faster you work the faster you'd probably can get a break which means you are packed out full its alot that goes into the garbage game you dont know about
