Book prices in the US are crazy! Most books in the UK cost £9.99 but some are only £3-6 especially tik tok recommended books (Lucy score included)

The Brown sisters trilogy is a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ series for me! The plus size representation is chef’s kiss 💋 I read them in reverse order 😂 Do you have the hoopla app? They tend to have audiobooks immediately available with no wait! Libby is AWESOME but the wait times are INSANE 🙃🙃🙃

For the Illuminae Files series, listen to the audiobooks! They have a full cast with special effects so it’s like listening to a movie! It’s one of my favorite sci-if series ever 💛

You should read "The Collected Regrets of Clover." Theres a witty grandma lost romance to the current romance side plotline and it was FABULOUS. It's literary fiction, about a Death Doula in NYC. The ending is so cute 😭

The Brown sisters trilogy is ELITE reading. Get a Life, Chloe Brown is THE book that got me into romance and I love her unconditionally.

Oh boy. Don’t come book shopping in Australia. Regular starting price in a bookstore is between $22 to $27 and often new books are $30+

I love talia's style of writing I only have "get a life chloe brown" and the ya book (I can't remember the title) but the one thing I dislike about the author is the way she disrespected my religion (islam) like in "take a hint dani brown" the mmc is muslim (well she doesn't explicitly say it more so his family is) but in islam sex before marriage and gf and bf relationship isn't allowed its forbidden (haram) . As a muslim I felt highly disrespected and uncomfortable reading that I gave it back to the bookstore. I wish the author didn't included religion expecially when some aspect of the book just goes against the religion. At the end of the day its my opinion how I view it I love her style of writing but I didn't like the way she "tryed" to include my religion in all the wrong ways. Their also another book we're she done the same thing and It was just so wrong. I didn't feel represented or inclusive.

It's fine, I like myself read the book thinking the mmc was just a Pakistani but when she added the "Islam/muslim" rep it didn't sit right with me. The other book is called "the Roommate risk" and firstly the mmc name is a typical south Asian/hindu name so I thought he could be hindu but out of nowhere the mmc was muslim all along and it didn't sit right with me. Like again a bad rep of religion. It was just one chapter but the book was alright and it wasn't all that. Again it's my opinion and others may not take it in that way but once an author disrespected my religion and other religions I'm not going to take it.
And at first in TAHDB I thought the author may have never known that islam doesn't allow certain things that she writes as the character is/was (idk?) Muslim as a muslim certain things aren't allowed. So yes I dnf the book and gave it to the bookstore. But then I decided to read another and she did it again and I honestly felt so disrespected and the fact that I love how the author writes but she did it again and its disappointing and just disrespectful. I know the book is fictional but religion isn't.
This doesn't mean you stop reading her other books. Her writing is great and enjoyable. But I now have to keep in doubt take when the author includes any religion bc I want it to be represented in the best way possible. I love your content btw.
I personally feel that authors can include religions. it's no problem, however they should really investigate and research on it before they put a bad rep on it in their books.
