One of my reading goals for 2024 is to re read my favorite books because it’s honestly so comforting 💜 I’m currently re reading Done and Dusted and it’s making me giggle
i found out about mariana zapata in late december and was immediately obsessed. i read four of her books four days in a row. i had to stop myself bc i didn’t want to run out of her books to read. i recently finished the wall of winnipeg and felt the same way you did at first because there was literally no chemistry whatsoever in the beginning. i almost dnf’ed but pushed through and ended up really liking it. my absolute favorite so far is from lukov with love. i loooove myself a slowburn romance.

I felt the same about re reading Kulti but I gave it enough time and when I read it again I liked it even more because I caught so many small details I missed first time around .

Check your settings you should be able to have your Libby books longer I keep mine for three weeks I am in Canada so I don’t know if that matters.
i literally picked up Butcher and Blackbird because of you. I'm LOVING it so much. Now I'm waiting until my library gets the audiobook so I can listen to it as well since you've hyped it up!

My Libby, there is an option where you can change the days you have to read a book from 14 days to 21 days.
Oh what! Is that an American feature? Canadian Libby doesn’t even let you sync to Kindle :( I have to read everything on my phone

4:35 it might be different for different libraries but for me i can change how long i loan out a book for. so on the screen with the second borrow button it says “borrowing for…” and it says 14 days or whatever, i press that and i can change it to max of 21 days.
on libby it let me change in settings on the app the due date from two weeks to three! check your settings to see if it’ll work for you too :)

They only keep Trad. Published books in stock at B&B tbh so a smaller bookstore might have it, but they won't carry it in stock until all MZ books have become Trad. Pub. books (which all rhodes lead here is becoming soon)!
my store used to carry pretty much all of them last year which is why i was confused :/

I hate heat and it makes me physically sick so I basically just shut all the blinds and stay inside all day. Also, summer semester is so much worse, so while everyone is out having the best time I am in my dark hot room studying all day
