Great video and instructions, and I suspect this is close to what I accomplished on my x5 e70 (most of the right side already), but I wanted some more clarification before pulling both the Left and Right that require Ballast replacement. Thx for sharing... 😃

This was more of a headlight removal video than a sanding/restoration video

Greetings from Slovakia... Why don't you seal the headlight after sanding? It would last much longer if sealed. I use the "steaming" cup sealer and those headlights look just like new. Hvala ti puno..

Another question... Did you get that mirror finish just by sanding with 1500 grit? Wow! I had to polish for half an hour to get 90% of a mirror finish!

I have a question about UV protection. What did you use to protect the headlight? I already sanded and polished mine, and I am thinking to install just PPF on top. Do you think I need to clearcoat them before PPF? Thanks for the video.

and I understand “rapeseed” doesn’t have them because I use Kovax paper and don’t press while sanding

You should have shown how to take the headlight supporting bracket out because that is the hardest part to remove when removing the headlight. Come on man you should know this better.😂😂😂 . Everything else is fcken easy .
