Thanks! Yes, in the room it sounded and felt a lot more distorted and fluid which is really interesting :) but in terms of od, this was pretty dirty. The dod had the level on 10 and gain on 6. And the plexi had the volume on 4 but on the 3 gain stages channel. So quite a lot of gain, you can tell by the feedback 😁
You're awesome! What you recommand for a cheap plexi using for record on pc (into loadbox, virtual IR)? Marshall Origin, SV20, SC20, DSL, vintage modern? :D
Thanks! Depends on your budget. I’d be completely fine with an origin. If you have the money, sv20 is identical to the 50 watter. If you want something more versatile, vintage modern (but thats almost as expensive as the 1987x).
@@MagyHimself Thanks for reply! Under 500$ would be awesome! So SV20 is better than Origin? ua-cam.com/video/35CUrlW9pT8/v-deo.html This guys don't sound very well, lack of gain nah? He tells: the loudness 1 at 6, loudness 2 at 0, presence at 7. Maybe it's because of his setting?
@ definitely sv20 is better. That guy recorded with the phone mic and god knows what IR or cab he was using. And yes, he was using lowish gain. But I dont think you will find the sv20 under 500$. Anyway the most important part of a tone is the IR so with either the origin or sv20 you would be ok.
@@MagyHimself Thank you so much, it's been weeks i'm looking for an decent amp. Loadbox Torpedo Captor is good enough or a more expensive worth it? Thank you for your time Magy :D
Hi Magy, I was wondering if you had a chance to try an SV20 and how it compares to std 87x? P.S. BTW Did U guys notice "chasing frets" has deleted his channel ? Anyone heard something? Is it copyright strike?
I actually tried it! But my 87x is already super modded so not a good base for comparison, but imo the sv20 should be 98% similar to the 87 so dont worry about it :) Whaat? I had no idea! No, I don’t have his contacts but there is a very big chance! April is a real huge **** these days. Just check Elmo’s latest vids… really sorry to hear about chasing frets :(
Every time I get a vid like this I don't skip a sec. Everyone should do this at least once in their lives. Even if modelers make the big old tube heads obsolete. Just to have that experience. Great song choices too. Btw how do you keep that trem from going out of tune? Any particular techniques or are you just one of the lucky ones?
@@becauseiwasinverted5222 thanks! It really is an awesome sensation! I gotta use the trem a bit after letting it rest for a while to get it going. But nothing fancy. Only lubing the nut cause that’s where the strings are caught.
Excellent tone!! This is exactly the tone Yngwie had in 1984 -1986 era perfect nothing better!! Ever
@@BlueBanjoGrass yeah! It really depends how the mic is placed but in this case I only recorded the room sound with the phone :)

damn! I can tell you know all of his licks by heart, every note as clear as day at insane speeds, amazing work man!
Thanks a lot man! :D believe it or not, volume does help with glueing them together
Great job! Great tone!
Thanks!
Savage playing man! Delicious Yngwie tone, delivered through your insanely fast fingers. That neck pickup sounds incredible too 👏👏👏
Thanks so much! Hs3 all the way!
This is great Magy! Raw tone! / Emir from the yngwie Group

Great playing

What kind of saddles did you replace the originals with?
Great playing
Thanks! Replaced them with graptech
Outstanding playing and tone! Which DOD 250 or 308?
Thank you! It’s a dod250 clone :)
