Companies provide this money from their profits, which they would otherwise have to pay taxes on. In this way, they skip paying taxes and the state repays the debt to them with interest! Can it get any better!? The same corporations and tycoons sponsor political election campaigns. Politicians, more or less puppets, return favors by creating jobs for them by wars, Covid and other crises....and it's all nicely packaged and served as a democratic lie.

The journalist also has an issue in understanding what a mercenary is and how they are used in the Ukraine.... a mercenary is a soldier who is hired for service in the army of a foreign country...so any foreign soldier qualifies as one.... the large defence organizations call their guns for hire: "security contractors" or "private military contractors".
Worst thing Zelensky did is to change commanders as after that Ukraine started losing ground....Russia has gained air superiority so Ukraine needs to come up with something quickly now.... I notice they don't talk about the left bank of the Dnipro now which is worrying...
