This song is the representation of how much pain one can sometimes carry inside to the point where the person is no longer able to distinguish if they are valuable, if they are a Monster, if they are really worth it.
If you spend a few years like that, you lose any sense of self, and any time that you manage to get that tiny spark of individuality back, you feel like your brain is attemtping to split in two, and you quickly fall back into nothingness. Would it be better to extinguish the flame entirely to stop it from burning down what's left, or would it be better to wait and see what remains after the inferno.
I like how in 1:59 it basically details the thought process of Godzilla needing to shoot lasers from his back. He needs the light to kill the stealth bombers(the darkness killing him).
I'm a Fan of Godzilla, and when I saw the Shin Godzilla movie I really loved what this depiction of Godzilla was like, a very sad and deranged one... He didn't want to be and do... "That" but the world did it that way. Then I learned that the one who directed the film was the same as the one who made the Evangelion Anime, and then I researched (I'm not a fan of Evangelion but I like it) and I knew from its protagonist that, from what happened in life, he was in a weak and depressing emotional state, and then that event occurred that ended the life of the planet. That only makes you wonder... Why? And he was willing to make another disaster of equal magnitude later. Now that I see both Shin Godzilla and Shinji, I see them as a different version themselves. You know, there's a scene in Shin Godzilla's movie where he "looks" at his hands, as if wondering what it was, and what he became. They are a different universe but there is still a certain similarity.
Theres 2 voices here One is him screaming out for help and somebody to kill him The other is his survival instincts thriving and trying to survive to become a pile of mass destruction

Been a fan of Sagisu since his work with evangelion, but hearing his work in shin Godzilla gave me the same feelings of just pure terror and hopelessness from when I watched anything from the eva franchise, hands down one of my favourite composers and so fitting for this interpretation of Godzilla.
Used him in a DND game he was sapose to be epicly defeated and the group to win but they rolled sadly and the ending words of the game was "you see it's mouth open a wicked grin of devastation and then a light" and that's where the laptop shut what a beautiful end to a evil game

This is one of the first songs to move me to tears, it’s such a beautiful and saddening song. And the thing that makes Shin so tragic to me is the genuine confusion and fear he has, rather than malice or spite, he is afraid.
It is terrifying, knowing how much shin Godzilla suffers and knowing the lyrics of this song when you were a Godzilla fan and you hear that you start to feel like a lot of regret for a Shin Godzilla, it sense, chills down your spine, and how much he’s suffering it scares me the most
This song is so soothing. Its like the words are speaking to me. I been going through deep depression for so long and I feel the words are like metaphors and similes to what I'm feeling inside. Love shiro's work always a wonder to listen to.
Shin Godzilla wasn’t technically the “Villain” but rather we, the humans were. This creature was in pain from the start, we just added to his pain. Kamata was in pain, struggling to breath air with his rudimentary lungs, Shinagawa-Kun was in pain, too. He was vomiting blood. Kamakura-San was destroying the city in his pain. Yet, we attacked him and ridiculed him when he defended himself, he wasn’t a monster. But WE pictured him as one, acted like he was one, *treated him like one.*
As this creature was about to rain destruction upon humanity His body was in constant pain and suffering that all he could do was let out a gutteral scream that got misheard as a roar No one understood him No one helped him Humanity was reprimanding his actions as acts of violence when in reality, it was his way of expressing the complete anguish and pain he's suffering... He is called Shin Godzilla, the Chaos Bringer But for me, i see him as a misguided soul looking for an end towards his pain...
When I first watched Shin Godzilla when I was 13, this specific OST just clicked with me. I don’t know how to explain it up it was by far my favorite OST out of everything I had listened to and it is still in my opinion the best Godzilla OST and likely will be in the future.
He's probably saying: "WHY HAVE YOU DONE THIS TO ME? WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS PAIN? I AM IN CONSTANT ANGUISH AND SUFFERING... PLEASE RELEASE ME FROM THIS HELL..."
Tbh I kinda hated Shin’s design and everything in the movie but after watching this video this *CHANGED IT ALL* NOW I DON’T HATE SHIN ANYMORE…*I LIKE HIM* He’s like my 2nd fav Godzilla incarnation on the list but I grew up on MonsterVerse Godzilla and that makes him my fav incarnation but don’t worry I ain’t a biased fanboy
Ma siento mal por shin godzilla el en realidad no es malo, solo siente dolor y sufrimiento por culpa de la mutación que destruye su cuerpo es algo que el sabe y quiere morir para parar ese dolor
This Godzilla is like no other, it’s not a remnant of a long lost species like in 1954, not like a force of nature like in others, or the vengeful soul of WW2 victims in GMK, it’s a being who existence breaks all known natural laws, it can evolve by will yet is in constant agony, a seemingly emotionless, almost thoughtless being that walks driven only by instinct and it’s very existence threatens all life on the planet. It possesses the power of destruction and the ability to become a perfect being capable of unimaginable things.
recently installed 2 reference speakers and a 18" Bass with 1000w amp. This sounds SO amazing. Everything sounds better when you can hear full range and clear voices.
Godzilla Vs Biollante, - *"Godzilla and Biollante aren't monsters, monsters is the people who created them"* (Translate can be incorrect cause i watched film with russian translate)
As cheesy as this sounds(since I went through nowhere near as much pain as this fictional monster) this song perfectly represents my mindset from when I was 17, I don’t wanna trauma dump, but I was on the verge of death, starving to death, and left to wither by my own mother, there was a good long time where I both wanted to die, but continue to persist, so this song hits me pretty hard.

I always have a soft-spot for creatures that are in pain but they dont understand why or how, a human in pain atleast has an understanding of what's going on, shing godzilla is a scared animal
hearing this knowing that shin is on constant pain makes the ost even more deep than it is "they try everything and yet is still going on and evolving , the government try launching nukes but yet it fail , this is not good , this is the end , there's no salvation , only wait for our slowly and horrible death , humanity is doomed and theres nothing we can do to save it , this is ###### from channel 9 and it was a pleasure to talk with yall , goodbye everyone.." that vibes give me lol
Moral of this movie (shin godzilla): if we continue doing this like Japan dumping up all nuclear radioactive in sea if do like same like Japan like throwing plastics or other dangerous compounds or other dangerous stuff our mother nature will suffer humanity so bad we can't even imagine. It will be same like this shin godzilla movie
Honestly our impact on a lifespan is so small and seeing how gen alpha and latest gen Z they care more about there phone then there planet honestly I think Gen Z was the last good generation humanity will ever have And the worst part is that humanity deserve this faith the only thing we did was killing each other and killing nature to a point that even if we all disappear earth would never get back to normal (sorry for the sad point of view but it’s my opinion anyway I hope your well ❤️)
The worse thing is, he didn't even get killed. He was alive even after the coagulant was injected and he froze. He was just stuck in a husk of it's own, unable to do anything nor die, living on. He never got to end his misery.
Shin,he doesn't know what he is,he doesn't know what he's doing,he doesn't even know how he got in that form, shin, getting tortured by it's hot, boiling blood every single escond, screams of pains heard, this crature,it doesn't want to fight. It wants to die.
Never been a big fan of kaiju movies and the west managed to mostly ruin my impression of them with their mediocre versions but after seeing this movie i was so impressed. The fact that it was directed by Anno with the score of Shiro Sagisu also helped, so good.
A Pain that never ceases A Victim who can never be killed A Sin that can Never be Forgiven nor Forgotten As Humanity is Panicked and Shocked What Remains is Destruction and flames engulfing everything in its path But there is a Scream, a Scream that is not Human, as the Beast of destruction Screams in Agonizing Pain! As all that’s left are Corpses… Behold. Death, the Destroyer of Worlds: Godzilla… A True God Incarnate…

Yet, we attacked him and ridiculed him when he defended himself, he wasn’t a monster. But WE pictured him as one, acted like he was one, *treated him like one.*
Imagine finally dying after centuries only to get mutated and suffer forever
The cry of a weeping god, scorched by the fires of men
Bro humans either kill or experiment on anything new we discover its honestly kind of sad
As this creature was about to rain destruction upon humanity
His body was in constant pain and suffering that all he could do was let out a gutteral scream that got misheard as a roar
No one understood him
No one helped him
Humanity was reprimanding his actions as acts of violence when in reality, it was his way of expressing the complete anguish and pain he's suffering...
He is called Shin Godzilla, the Chaos Bringer
But for me, i see him as a misguided soul looking for an end towards his pain...
This art goes nuclear
1:43 why am I just now realizing that this is what godzilla was thinking during the stealth bombing scene?
When I first watched Shin Godzilla when I was 13, this specific OST just clicked with me. I don’t know how to explain it up it was by far my favorite OST out of everything I had listened to and it is still in my opinion the best Godzilla OST and likely will be in the future.
Like after listening I think the creators tryna give us the perspective of shin Godzilla mind and the perspective of the shin Godzilla biology.
It's the fourth time in a row that I've heard this song, and it's the tenth time that I've cried and had goosebumps while listening to it...
Shiro SAGISU just doesn't miss with the music.
When you suffer so hard you are a victim who will do anything to relieve your self of that pain you truly become terrifying.
I´ve waiting for this so many time :')
0:55 makes shin look like there screaming in fear of their monstrous form and also in agony of what the humans have done to it
He's probably saying:
"WHY HAVE YOU DONE THIS TO ME?
WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS PAIN?
I AM IN CONSTANT ANGUISH AND SUFFERING...
PLEASE RELEASE ME FROM THIS HELL..."
Ah shit, here I go cry again,
Thx for comeback :*)
Uma obra de arte 🍷
😊😊😊😊
Tbh I kinda hated Shin’s design and everything in the movie but after watching this video this *CHANGED IT ALL* NOW I DON’T HATE SHIN ANYMORE…*I LIKE HIM* He’s like my 2nd fav Godzilla incarnation on the list but I grew up on MonsterVerse Godzilla and that makes him my fav incarnation but don’t worry I ain’t a biased fanboy
Simplemente hermoso
Godzilla Vs Biollante,
- *"Godzilla and Biollante aren't monsters, monsters is the people who created them"*
(Translate can be incorrect cause i watched film with russian translate)
Gojira. Truly a god incarnate.
全てを破壊する力の前には、自分たちはどうすることも出来ず、瓦礫の山を呆然と眺めることしか出来ない無力感が感じられる
This is. Masterpeace
Shiro Sagisu is melody perfection.
“¿Quién sabrá… algo de mí?”
It's finally here💘
The anthems of my m i n d
Tradução
Quem vai saber
Se eu morrer...
Neste mundo
Quem vai saber
Algo sobre mim
Eu estou perdido
Ninguém sabe
Não há nenhum traço do meu desejo
Se eu morrer
(Mas devo continuar)
Neste mundo
Quem vai saber
(Nada pior)
Algo de mim
(Pode acontecer)
Eu estou perdido
(Todos os meus medos)
Não há vestígios
(Diga ao meu coração)
Do meu anseio
(Há um buraco)
Eu visto um vazio...
Nem mesmo esperança
Uma inclinação descente
É tudo vejo
Eu visto um vazio
(Contando que a respiração)
(Vem da minha boca...)
Nem mesmo esperança
(Ainda posso ficar...)
(A menor chance)
Uma inclinação descente
(Um raio de luz)
É tudo eu vejo
(Para cessar a escuridão me matando)
this song gives me shivers bruh
This movie look so good.. so sad that is that hard for find it with subtitles..
The music is so good
Dude the chills I get when hearing this
I always have a soft-spot for creatures that are in pain but they dont understand why or how, a human in pain atleast has an understanding of what's going on, shing godzilla is a scared animal
Gracias por los subtitulos Carlangas
hearing this knowing that shin is on constant pain makes the ost even more deep than it is
"they try everything and yet is still going on and evolving , the government try launching nukes but yet it fail , this is not good , this is the end , there's no salvation , only wait for our slowly and horrible death , humanity is doomed and theres nothing we can do to save it , this is ###### from channel 9 and it was a pleasure to talk with yall , goodbye everyone.."
that vibes give me lol
I didn't came here to cry...
Shin godzilla are truly one of the most saddest and tragic godzilla.
Honestly our impact on a lifespan is so small and seeing how gen alpha and latest gen Z they care more about there phone then there planet honestly I think Gen Z was the last good generation humanity will ever have
And the worst part is that humanity deserve this faith the only thing we did was killing each other and killing nature to a point that even if we all disappear earth would never get back to normal (sorry for the sad point of view but it’s my opinion anyway I hope your well ❤️)
The worse thing is, he didn't even get killed. He was alive even after the coagulant was injected and he froze. He was just stuck in a husk of it's own, unable to do anything nor die, living on. He never got to end his misery.
Shiro sagisu really is a genius
Shin,he doesn't know what he is,he doesn't know what he's doing,he doesn't even know how he got in that form, shin, getting tortured by it's hot, boiling blood every single escond, screams of pains heard, this crature,it doesn't want to fight.
It wants to die.
Goosebumps
Everyone: he is so scary!!
Shin Godzilla: *constantly burning in agony*
Now I wanna hug shin godzilla
There is one word that describes shin Godzilla perfectly. Tormented(苦しめられた)
Masterpiece video, I loved it.
Shin Godzilla: *I want to die*
Never been a big fan of kaiju movies and the west managed to mostly ruin my impression of them with their mediocre versions but after seeing this movie i was so impressed. The fact that it was directed by Anno with the score of Shiro Sagisu also helped, so good.
1:53 shin Godzilla has a marvelous voice ong
it's heart wrenching that it's obvious this is from shin's POV
สู้ๆนะครับ เป็นกำลังใจให้ฟังทุกเพลงเลย😍😍😍
ขอบคุณมากครับผม ^ ^
ผมก็เป็นกำลังไห้นะครับ
Man this song is sad.
perfection.
This song is amazing!
A Pain that never ceases
A Victim who can never be killed
A Sin that can Never be Forgiven nor Forgotten
As Humanity is Panicked and Shocked
What Remains is Destruction and flames engulfing everything in its path
But there is a Scream, a Scream that is not Human, as the Beast of destruction Screams in Agonizing Pain!
As all that’s left are Corpses…
Behold. Death, the Destroyer of Worlds: Godzilla… A True God Incarnate…
This song tells me of Shin Gojira's Grudge. Chillss every where....
すごい!
Shin might be terrifying but he's actually just depressed and he can't talk (in animation videos) so no one really knows his pain 😔
