I've mentioned this before to people, but a bunch of people seem to forget that the only reason WE know Kite is dead is 10 seconds at the end of episode 85. If you take that 10 seconds out of the show we would still think Kite is alive and being controlled. No one in Gon's group ever saw Kite without his head.
