I‘ve tried the RS6 and the C63 S. My choice would be the C63 S. Pros for the RS6: more power, 4WD, better design (in my opinion) and less consumption. But the point is, that the C63 S is much more of a sportscar than the RS6. You feel the power, it’s stiff and the feedback for the driver is much better than in the RS6.
When it comes to comfort , the RS6 is actually more comfortable than the C63 , and it also has the luxury features wich the C63s doesn’t since it‘s a lower class car. C Class is competing with Audi A4 and BMW 3 Series. E Class is competing with Audi A6 and BMW 5 Series.

the shifts in the pre face-lift on the 2018 models was very fast on the 7 speed. when first released on the 2015 model yeah there were lag issues but if you drove a 2018 pre face-lift you wouldn't see shift issues.

Even a friend who has a E63s 4matic+ tuned to 750bhp says it has a nice sound and rides sportish. he even thinks for 476 it pulls insanely well. i will always ask for careful inspections so it survives as long as it can. That's sad news about the next gen C63 being a 6 cylinder model, but I guess that's emissions regulations for you. At least the E class and up will get V8s in the form of Hybrids so that's good, plus it could mean that AMG will make an E63S Coupe.
good that they didn't change it to v6, in 2024 it's still v8 and hybrid though. thanks to your videos and all of the passion , after hardship to get m340i tuned to 507hp , that was "stolen" by one car dealer in burbach ... apparently they might have sold it for more to somebody else while waiting for me... I got 2020 model of this beauty, black in black c63 s estate . and it's just great great great

Have to disagree with u max on the gearbox 9 speed is just to many gears for a amg , its not a c220 efficent blue tec lol. The Old long changing 7 speed is just right for a howling v8

I read that those fake exhaust tips is done for insurance reasons. So that if someone slams into you from behind, the only thing they need to change is the bumper, and not the entire exhaust system which has shifted and distorted. Not sure but that's what I've read and I thin k it sounds logical, though it's cheap, penny-pinching behaviour of course
A friend has the 2016 c63s, the sound was meh, stock exchaust though, but he doesnt care to learn about any settings, is there a special setting to open the exhaust more or is it just as open as it gets in sport mode. Its very fast though, however if you are like 4 people of average weight of 90kg in the car the acceleration will be noticably slower, like alot slower. the difference was bigger than i expected.
Does he have the performance exhaust? Then you get a button on the right to open it. Also settings effect the power. Weight will always impact performance by a lot thats just physics.

But that was mixed so probably around 250kg not 360kg. At least its capable of carrying 4 adults in comfort and still have decent performance haha. Not many cars can do that.

And its not just due to 4 wheeldrive because it just kept pulling away. Even so i still like the c63s. Its just that the e63s is a monster. Btw now im talking about 2016 models both of the cars.
Take your time, c63 is a scary car in not perfect road conditions. Start with something less powerful and get some experience. Also better for insurance premiums, no insurance will cover it when u just got a license.
