Yep 💯 Francis... corporate buybacks and executive yachts/palaces/concubines all tank expensive e-mtbs growth. Also, as a hardcore tennis player, it's true that it is a complex skill acquisition sport! 🎾 Plus with pickleball, it's such a simple, static skill, it's far easier to play during a full blown margarita party and still do well. I'm jealous!🍻
Yep, was suspicious when Fox had a 20% off coupon with the launch of their new web store last week. Figured they were struggling to sell their new $1200 forks etc.. Still expensive with discount. Picked up previous gen Factory 38 for $500 a couple months ago when they had their fire sale. I’m sure I wasn’t alone and won’t be in the market for an upgrade for a long while.
Fox’s issue is the forks last longer than previously, and performance gains are incremental at best, and the prices now are stratospheric. I’m pretty price insensitive but even I feel no need to upgrade my Fox36 currently.
there are no bad news; finally, ppl stop overspending on items without extra added value!, no bicycle fork is worth 1.6k and, even if it did, no real sane person should buy it; it is the same story for bike brands!, I do really hope at least half of those with overinflated prices will go bust!, after the arrogance they showed during covid and a little while after, this is the result they deserve; all of them got filthy profits only a couple of years ago...well, I hope those profits are now put to good use and they will offer real products at real prices. If they still think the way to go is milking tens of Ks from us on bikes then, I wish them a 'happy bankruptcy'!
That's always been the case. Mostly because the volumes are lower and the enthusiast bikes are a higher income demographic. The gap has to narrow though. Ebikes are here and the people are seeing the discrepancy with prices with moto
Bike prices are too expensive! No amount of justification from the shills and marketing team can change that.
Fox aren’t worried no one services their suspension just ride until it doesn’t work. . So they will be forced to buy again. lol
This accurate AF. Haven’t serviced my ZEB in two years.

Yes, my wife organized a pickleball event for her tech workplace and 24 out of 26 people signed up.

You're doing your part. Thank you for your consumer service. :)
Not going to lie i took advantage of that 20 percent and got the 36 grip x 2

Lower the price of bikes…. Sell more Bikes???
Yep. that's another pickleball lesson. Make the gear very affordable and let folks focus on the activity
The only bad news here is that Shimano bike components sales aren't down MORE!. Stop buying their overpriced parts!
Shimano is not unfairly priced since they work and last forever. Just stay away from the bling-bling XTR
That’s complete BS - ride Shimano and you can save lot of money. SRAM won’t sell you single sprockets for your cassette. ;)
Bikes are more expensive than motocross bikes, shocks and components. Prob they bought material high price

I don’t know, Amazon still wants 1600 bucks for a Fox 40!
I just bought a new Fox 36 170mm for $450! I almost bought 2
That's the benefit for us. The old stock is clogging up the inventory lines so they have to clear it with super sales.
I don’t see a single bad news here.
E-bikes are now too hard for Americans they are playing pickleball instead …lol
800.00 for a seat post
pickle ball (cheaper sport)
Go pro... worst gadget I ever bought. Zero reliability...zero after sale support
First 5 versions were toy-grade. Surprised they survived that era.
Same. I will never buy a GoPro again. I will try a dji.
I will buy a new 38 at 30% tomorrow, just to try the newest flavor of ice cream. Fox.🦊
MMMMmmmm, tasty!
