I'm not a renekton main but i always enjoy playing him once in a while. And i have wanted to learn how to play him properly. Your videos have been helping me a lot thank you man for teaching me and beein so entertaining
I think you are right about 'the whole 'being competent'' thing, like if a Renekton play perfectly you can really do something in this matchup while he will just get destroyed, but if the darius play super agressive he can totaly force you to do a mistake and kill you, he also has lvl 1 prio if he doesn't do something weird like in this video (without 0 fury and him having w there is no way). It's one of the match up where renekton need to be played perfectly and has little room for mistake. On the other hand Darius is easier to play, his passive is just too strong in most 1v1. Oh and ghost can allow him to 100-0 you really easy but again it's about the ''agressivity'' of the darius. As a renekton main I never loose a match up where darius were passive or not agressive enough. In the other hand some darius are too agressive, but the darius who is agressive but not excessively is really a threat.
I have been 20th in Türkiye server, as a renekton player. If I say something about this matchup, Renekton has %75wr against noxus guy. However, I want to know your opinion about this noxus guy.
I think Darius is pretty easy for the most part, it wasn't really that difficult to play vs him but the more comfortable you are with mechanics the easier this match up becomes. In this video I didn't play vs Darius for months and it still felt the same after all this time, so it's pretty easier the better you are at Renekton.
4:28 he didnt get the q on you tho. He just outstat you even with 1 lvl down but you were not full hp (700/1000) and I think you should have e out not in when he had 4 stacks on you.
Ehh watched you live playing this game, again just like the quinn matchup video, this darius completly grifed his early game... doesent show when darius lvl 1 is preassuring you of the wave with his lvl 1 w start... wish i get to vs these types or darius mainS in master and above :P
I mean the thing is I can only do what I'm given, I don't have all the time in the world to play and it's hard to always showcase the perfect way or another desired way someone else plays. Thing is too, I think W start on Darius is kind of whatever these days Q, is a lot better most of the time and probably the most common start too for a lot of people playing the match up. I agree, he wasn't the greatest but yeah I'm limited with what I can record and show at the moment, but I don't think it should also take away how I can come back and also show how you can win it too.
yeah no worries bro, is what it is. But im dumbfounded how sometimes you get rly anomaly lane phases like vs this darius and the quinn. That realy rarely hapens to me, so im confused when i see mains and otps play like gold players at them moments o_ o@@Godrekton
Trust me I totally agree and it's been happening even upwards of 400lp, I just don't get it either honestly but maybe I'm lucky and just not playing enough. But I do think the ELO range is really not that good considering even if I'm not on form I'm outperforming a majority of the time. It's really weird stuff haha@@Mutangod
Renekton and jarvan scaling for you XD, this darius wasn't good because feel like if he stats w and zones you off melee xp there is not much you can do since renekton's level 1 is weak in extended trades except for champions that are weaker like an ornn and he was also building glass cannon for some reason when orianna wasn't even useful and he could.'ve built randuins and thormnail and carried fights or tanked for his twitch at least.

Unironically I'm actually a big late game enjoyer, my only pain is when my team fights without me and gives me a heartattack xD
