Do NOT make this mistake in Bogota... unless you want to have an amazing time.

We made a HUGE mistake when we visited Bogota, and it turned into the most memorable day we could imagine, Follow along as we inadvertently go on a religious pilgrimage to the top of Monserrate, a mountain overlooking Bogota, Colombia. We'll tell you why - despite the hundreds of steps and 2,000 feet you have to climb - this is the ONE place you should visit if you find yourself in Bogota.
As Bob Ross would say, there are no mistakes... just "happy accidents." This was our happiest accident yet!
