There will never be another talent as great as Ron Gaddis. I literally play his videos every single day. I wish he would tour and have his own concerts, I would be first in line. George depended on Ron when they were on that stage every time. Ron should have been the first one to speak and sing at the funeral for George. God Bless you Ron, keep singing. My wife Elaine is crazy about you, and she plays your music all the time.
I love your music and I watched you perform with George Jones. You are a very good singer. I love your songs. I watch your videos all the time. I live near Raleigh NC. I would love for you to come to Raleigh NC, so I could meet you in person. Keep up the great music.
Nobody but Ron Gaddis could have backed the great George Jones on stage in the 80s, I saw George eight times from 1981 to 1990, Ron would warm up the crowd like no one else, and then sing harmony with George when he came on......and of course Ron is a great bass player to boot.
***** you got it bud! He was George's right hand man on bass and vocal harmony for years. One heck of a singer and musician. I think he took a shot at a solo career but it never panned out.
***** you got that right. If I'm not mistaken I think I also read somewhere that Gaddis was derailed a bit with a drinking problem as well. Working all those years with George though who wouldn't have a drinking problem LOL! Years ago I saw George live and pretty well in the bag. He actually forgot some of the words to He stopped loving her today. Gaddis jumped right up to the mic and filled in perfectly. I gotta believe he bailed George out like that many times in all those years he was with him LOL!!

Nancy wouldn't even have his daughter and sister and family sit or speak at the front. She got rid of most his family and friends.
Glad he’s recording for himself. Great voice.
