You might want to mod the engine itself in order to force Unreal engine game to not load as much asset as possible to reduce stuttering and loads for the hardware... Right now this game is really not that optimized...
i still think the graphic was bit low even i use highest setting like you can see it on icon resolution and when you zoom out the character and grass texture, its feel like the anti aliasing still not to smooth so you can still see the pixelated detail hope they make it more better in the future
if you play on pc and have nvidia you can actually improve like a looooot, by playing with nvidia engine options, like the difference from lowest graphics to highest graphics here, is smaller then the difference from highest graphics in this video to how it looks using the right engine options
Playing this at 4k max look gorgeous and much better than genshin's graphics. -The only problem is that it eats 10gb vram at 4k max and only utilizes 70%gpu on my 6700xt
@@electricant55 nah man it is not cpu bottleneck. I am using i5 12400 which is far more than enough for games like WW. And for vram matter the game right now eat much less than before
The Game looks better with Volumetric fog & lighting disabled, as well as brightness set between 20-30%. Colours pop more, and are less washed out. Distant structures are less fuzzy.
A week into the game, my rx 6600 can run the game well. However there’s obviously still issues. Example: Adrenaline software not detecting the game, and fps drops. Overall, I’m having fun but it shouldn’t be my pc that’s the issue since optimization definitely needs a lot more work for WuWa.
Great comparison thank you. I find that LOD BIAS and shadow take a hell lot of resource so I drop it a notch and now I'm running smoothly with very little difference in image quality
FSR/DLSS actually reduces image quality because it gets rendered internally in lower resolution and then gets upscaled back to the original resolution. However, for DLSS on rare occasions it may improve the image quality due to its upscaling method which uses deep learning (AI), and make it look better than FSR (used by AMD and other cards) or even the original resolution.
All they just needed is fking reduce npc spawn in the world lol. This game has massive amount of npc and you can see some places have npc spawning continuously

I play highest on ssd, gtx 1650, i7-11370H, 16gb ram and it only occupies like around 50% of my vga but it stutters so bad especially in cities everytime I move my characters, but if I just stay in one place it will return to 60fps. And in domain too its stable 60 fps i like it. But I just dont really like the frame drop to 40 fps in open world

@@bridgettejasperreyes7567 isn't it the other way around? iirc tech reviewers like gamer nexus or hardware unboxing say upscaling technology mostly looks negligible on higher resolution display (1440p and above). I use 1080p, 22 inch (on the smaller side for today's standard). But regardless FSR in this game just looks bad for some reason. I did try FSR on genshin, it doesn't look smudged there. Probably also the reason why they just straight up remove FSR option from wuwa.
I have a 1080p monitor, the game looks like 720p or 900p, it's blurry. I used nvidia to upscale to 4k, now the game looks much better, I don't really know why it looks so bad at 1080p, even the hud is blurry in 1080p. I run the game with the highest grapichs and dlss in balance, it runs really nice now, it's sad that nvidia game filter doesn't support this game yet.
I'm able to run high settings without performance issues, but I play medium settings for convenience because sometimes the PC gets too hot and loud which I hate. Just trading some quality for peace. The game still looks amazing at medium settings plus I'm using nvidia filter so no issues
Running maxed out everything on my iPhone 12 pro, somehow runs buttery smooth despite the heating which is odd considering I have a ton of apps and whatnot and esp hearing the mobile issues but ig I was the lucky few
I haven't tried DLSS on my laptop with Nvidia GPU (didn't download the game on it) but on my PC that connected to 1080p monitor and with AMD GPU, turning on FSR makes things looks so smudgy. Maybe because it didn't have high enough resolution to upscale from unless it's natively 2K or even 4K like yours.
Yeah that's what happen when you turn on dlss/fsr, dlss and fsr isn't better than native quality, it help your pc having more performance by reducing the quality and then make an higher image with ai, if you move fast you will have some problem since sometimes they can't get everything right. Depend on the game and how it's implemented but yeah on wuthering waves fsr isn't that good.
@@mrprimogemAI doing wonders there on DLSS. Newer version of FSR vastly improved the smudginess problem. The issue is that the majority of games are still on FSR2 🗿

im planning to switch from mobile to pc, my pc can probably only handle standard graphics, but my mobile phone can handle max just fine. So is max graphics on mobile better than standard graphics on pc?
fsr makes the gameplay a bit uglier though imho so if ur pc can runs it just fine (can play on high fps and high quality with good performance), you should avoid using fsr because it does not a huge difference in quality
@@mrprimogem at first it was terrible when wuthering updates happened(i call it since it was s*ittons of updates every single day) i notice it was getting smoother and smoother i set it all high at 1080p only with motion blur off now even at tower of adversity i almost play at 60fps consistent(with minor drops to 55)

@@ReoKurona laptops do tend to run hot under pressure, that is fine as long as it's not throttling, as for graphics you might wanna keep things low but keep shadows at medium/high that has a significant visual quality improvement!
The graphics quality is frankly disgusting. I think it's safe to say that Genshin Impact is its rival, there's a huge difference between the graphics of this game and Wuthering Waves. Texture rendering, resolution quality, modeling, color choices, contrast and more... It's completely disgusting. Yes, it's so mechanically packed that at times I finished battles with a slight sweat. But Wuthering Waves needs a serious graphics patch. Also, Turkish language support should be added 😉😉 (Edit: I think I should make a correction, I believe they can deliver better graphics in more optimized ways in the graphics patch. I've seen examples of this before. Honestly, I don't believe that they can achieve much success with what they do if they want to do a visually good job, even at the expense of changing the game engine they use. The example I mentioned may have been too exaggerated, which it is, it means rewriting the game. It's just pointing out that even if it's for the sake of something like this, it should still be done. Anyway Turkish language support should be added)

10GB isn't even bad for 4k these days, but the CPU bottlenecking is real

Shadow quality very low makes my screen a lot brighter than low or higher. Ive set my brightness a lot lower and it also looks more beautiful that way

I get 46-47fps at max settings 1080p on my rog ally in action. Suprised the 1650 is slower.

1:27 you should disclose which one you're actually using, they have different implementation. FSR on my end looks bad & blurry.
In my testing it was FSR! But it seems FSR is affecting everyone differently. Regardless FSR is removed from the settings now
FSR kinda depends on how big your Monitor is...
The bigger the monitor the more blurry things get...

Could be an AMD thing, mine amps up the sharpness/clarity slightly even on 1080p

Capsule AO seems to add more depth, volumetric fog has very negligible difference in my testing
