I really appreciate your content. Always very informative, succinct, and logical. Always something a little different. You are one of my favorite channels. Thanks so much
I've been on a Green Lantern kick. 1-50 have great covers, then the Neal Adams issues with Green Arrow, and of course 141...first appearance of Omega Men.
You know to this day I’m not sure I’ve ever read a Green Lantern solo title. Which is odd as I’m pretty sure of the DC runs it would probably be one of my favorites from a story continuity perspective
So much to say. First of all, thank you for this list. DC does not get enough love anymore. Even if a person is a Marvel guy, there is a wealth of wonderful DC books out there, and they are largely undervalued IMHO. I share your love of the Main Man. (Bastiches unite!) However, I could not help but notice a distinct lack of G’Nort on your list. Clearly this was an oversight, I’m sure you’ll correct in your next list.
Lol clearly! Not to get into a long tangent but I didn’t grow up with DC except for Batman cartoon and they have not done much over those years to bring me back. Lot of cool stories but they are mixed in with a lot of bad.
When it comes to covers alone there are so many good ones. I try not to go down the rabbit hole of just collecting covers but there are a few I just can’t ignore
Only Superman I got as a kid were flea market books my grandma got for me. Not a ton and not his best stuff for sure. Probably had less than 5 Superman comics through my early years
Wow I have 7 off these I have or want on this list. 232 Batman have a 5.0 CGC but it be a 9.0 east if not for the water damage on back pages that dropped it 4 graded. The front is super clean no spine ticks.
Aside from Lobo no DC character ever really jumped out to me. I did enjoy Injustice series tho as I do think most of them are far more interesting as villains
@@bronzevillecomics2581 think it was mostly being able to get that content as a kid made it feel taboo. That and the issue he goes to comic con was one of my favorite comics ever
They are probably properly valued where Marvel are hyper inflated due to so much more visibility. Now if DC can really compete with the MCU then those keys could really explode in value.
@@hobbyhero6973 Yes that is also true. I got back into collecting comics 4 years ago and decided to go with Dc only because it felt Marvel was too inflated. I think if someone is a marvel collector they are really out of luck getting value books unless they shop modern.
What DC comics would make your list?

Wow, I really appreciate that. I really enjoy talking about the hobbies I love so glad people enjoy it as much as I do.
Great video bud! I love my DC books, I have a few of those from your list 👍 batman 227 is definitely on my want list.
Great book but hard to find a good deal on!
Very well-reasoned list; you have me wistful for these books, which I once owned, and now might again. Thanks.
No problem! They are books that are both fun to own and should grow and value which is a win win in my book.
Cool books. Thank you for your video. Catch up with you for the next one.
Thanks and appreciate you checking it out

When talking about covers and story I thought you would have said Detective Comics 475. Has the Joker Fish right on the cover. Amazing book.

I like both. When I was a little kid Superman was my guy. Now I like Daredevil a lot.

I was wondering if you were going to say Batman 232. Batman 251 is another really good one. Good list
The list honestly could have been all Batman but I did want to mix it up a bit.
@@hobbyhero6973 yeah gotcha. I agree
I also know you were a closet DC Fan Boy! Batman 227 and Swamp Thing is on my DC want list!
I like several of their characters just not many of their stories.

Great minds think alike 😉
I agree with many of those. To throw another cover buy in there… Zatanna #15.
I do wish her first appearance had a better cover but I’m pretty high on her character overall
I’m more of a DC collector. Although I have 2 copies of Fightin’ 5 #40 but no Peacemaker 1. I’m looking for a HoS 92.

@@MrPelletty the market is coming back down to earth a bit so not as bad. For awhile there couldn’t hardly afford modern keys
