I think it's time for us to rest my fellow oldphags, this place is unrecognizable anymore. Faces I once knew vanish one after another and the ones that do stay behind are shells of their former selves. Our home is gone and there's no substitute for us either, nor will we ever re-experience those times. I wasn't big on twitch but I did watch a lot of Forsen playing pubg after the fact. This is sort of like finding the remains of a once great and thriving civilization. One that just a lot of autistic internet kids can relate to and cherish.

not sure when he became popular (nor how...) but twitch has been really bad for ages, it all started with TOS.
it was like 2018 when they started to pump TOS. The youtube adpocalypse spread to twitch and they had to save their adspace. The moment everyone was afraid to speak it went downhill, when newf*g became newfriend etc.

Had a twitch account since 2013, started watched Forsen in late 2015, but stopped a few years ago. Yeah, I get it. I miss ASCII spam a lot.
For real though, PlugDJ was the incubator for some of the greatest cancer music on twitch - Alex the Seal, DJ Karl the dog, Yung TriHard and so many more.
I was not there, but anything new and unexplored does feel more genuine and fun, old youtube, old internet days, then, with time, it grows stagnant and corrupt. Maybe that's why we're so allergic to anything popular, because it strips off that feeling of being a part of something special.
