I had a lekker conversation with Steve, Brian and Ebeth only yesterday about their ages. And, despite plentiful confusion, in the end we agreed that Brian was 62, Steve 60 and Ebeth a spritely 39! 😅 The lot of them are in excellent nick and looking forward to still entertain Saffers come 2050. 😉 Go check them out at the Barnyard Menlyn (Pretoria) on 31 May chaps! I guarantee you entertainment of the highest order!
Steve Ashley has a great voice, but he never tells anyone that the credit for the most successful era in the late sixties, should go to Steve Lonsdale, who was their vocalist at the time.
