,, first start, that Doug Thornhill engine, the first time to pump up fuel pump, no magneto, battery and coil,, 3 hp, type m,

It looks like it’s missing it’s magneto and they have hooked a positive and negative clamp to the engine some how from a battery to creat the spark.
