I like to watch older movies with my 12 year old daughter. She liked The Birds and Psycho. So a few weeks ago her teacher mentioned Alfred Hitchcock in class and she said all the kids were like “who?” And she said “come on guys, you know, Psycho The Birds!” When she told me I said “Hitchcock would be proud”
I love that in one moment you called it Downtown Disney. I still call it that sometimes too! Love it there. Lived in Gainesville and now St Pete - we make frequent trips to Disney Springs!

I was at the old Universal Studios in Florida in the early nineties and they had a Hitchcock set up of Psycho and how the shower scene was filmed and it was very fascinating. I really loved that and miss the old Universal Studios where you had the tram ride around the studios, Back to the Future ride, how Desilu studios had the 3 camera setup to film the I love Lucy show. I'm glad you're so fascinated with the old films and TV shows, I Keep up your interest in filming!
ADAM: The old hotel at 8:44 on Reedy Creek Blvd. has been there at least since the 1970s when I stayed there with my parents and grandparents! Used to be a Ramada Inn (changed names over the years), and was one of the CLOSET off-site hotels to WDW property back in the day!
Love all Hitchcock movies, always at the edge of my seat spilling my popcorn. Too bad you missed those beginning minutes but least you know what transpired . RIP AH!,🙏🏽
I would have had to watch the first eight minutes when I got home! Also, I didn't get the Bruno reference, but I looked it up. I used to go to a Bruno's pizzeria that had the best breakfast pizza I ever had. Amazing idea that was hard to find anywhere else

I find The Birds very unsettling to watch. Since watching it for the first time as a young teenager, I now cannot abide large gatherings of birds - especially when they take flight as a large group.
THE BIRDS is my favorite Hitchcock film. Thank you for the vicarious screening experience and reminder of the anniversary! I remember they used to show it on KTLA 5 in LA on Sunday afternoons when I was a kid. I used to look forward to just seeing the commercials. I will be watching my DVD tonight!
I dumb lucked my way into that grocery store to pick up some essentials while waiting for an order from Giordanos on one of my first trips to 192 from Texas. Little did I know the store would shut down the next year.
Great video Adam. But as for Dunkin Donuts, I grew up in Massachusetts (and on Dunkin Donuts), and I went to a Dunkin for a field trip back in 3rd grade. We went back into the kitchen, and they gave us each a dozen donuts and munchkins which they made that morning there. I do remember the commercials you were talking about as well (Fred The Baker).
I wrote down my exercise sets then carried it around to remind me. It helped keep me structured. Then ate healthy 6 days a week. 1 day of just junk food from minute I woke up to sleep. Monday back on diet and workouts.
Some locations have people that come in and do all the frostings and fillings they also make the bagels, croissants, and muffins for the store others have them shipped in completely made
"The Birds" is a great Movie, Poor Tippi Hedren, 🐦and the Dunkin Donuts, Pumpkin Donuts 🍩🍩are the Best! that donut looks good too!! They make them somewhere else and bring to the stores...but they are still good!!! enjoy your day, we are still trying to run into you..just to say HI!! maybe one day at the Parks, or Celebration...👀 "Margaritaville" is a great resort, (Sunset Walk) Lots of Restaurants, and entertainment (Free) on the weekends....🎶

I've been to a lot of Fathom event movies back when Turner Classic Movies used to sponsor them and I don't think any had a trailer pack attached. Those always had an intro form the TCM host for about 5 minutes and then the movie began. I thougt it was very strange, though, that there was a 25 min. countdown clock when you and your friends watched BTTF. First time I had ever seen that.
My family and I loved to go to Splendid China and were sad when it closed. They put a lot of money into building it, so it was a shame to have it all destroyed. My favorite thing there was watching the acrobats. The Birds was my favorite Hitchcock movie. It sure did make me wary of birds after that!
I love when the theaters play the classics. Many years ago a movie theater had stopped showing first run films and did a long line of showing classic films. I remember they did a run of all the old James Bond films. I was in my glory 😊.
There are Dunkins that bake their donuts. I know in New England many of the full size stores do the baking. Only the smaller stores get the donuts trucked in.🤗👻💀🎃🕷️🕸️🍩☕
ADAM, the birds of my all-time favorite movie I must’ve seen it over 100 times I love it but there’s one thing about it and I’m sure you’ve seen it already so you know the song in the school room that the students are singing that song stays in my head for days every time I think about the birds I can’t get it out of my mind but I love the movie. Hope you enjoyed it.
I live in Los Angeles, and Quinton Tarantino owns the New Beverly cinema.They only show old and classics on the big srceen.Its always a joy to seem them with a packed house.From Universal Jamie.

Alfred Hitchcock’s the birds scared me so much as a kid I hated going to the beach or anywhere there were seagulls till about 13 classic 👻👻
I’ve noticed that on re-releases that they start pretty close to on-time. It’s only the newer movies that have 30 minutes of previews.
