Problem is that this chair is so good that I would be afraid to leave it out, ever! at a camp site or RV park like I do with my not as comfortable inferior Coleman directors chairs that were $40. I leave the camp site or drive away for hours and am not afraid of them being stolen. These chairs with the name clearly marked on them would grow legs and then I would have nothing. Is that really a problem? Depends on if you want to pack them up every time you walk away or go into your camper.
Just ordered one mainly because of the UVA protection and that it will hold heavy people. I was buying "Freesatyle Rocker" chairs but material would break after a couple years in the sun.
Thanks for the review. I've been considering this chair for my hubby since he does lots of car shows. We easily spend $50+ dollars every year for a new folding chair. So I'm looking at this as an investment. Thanks again
Go with a GCI chair! Way cheaper, they have a lifetime warranty, anything happens, contact them and you will get a new chair! Not normal wear and tear but anything else.
I’m really trying not to pull the trigger on one of these but my god I want one lol. I’m a CO and spend a lot of ot shifts sitting in horrible chairs at the hospital and this would be awesome to carry in with me.
I know you’ve got the base camp chair as well. Would you expect this chair to last as long as the Hondo or would you expect it to break down a little sooner?
My thoughts are if you're using these chairs as chairs, they will both be the last chairs I own. There are more working parts on the Trailhead with more complicated hinges. But typical to Yeti standards, they are very we engineered. I suppose anything can fail but I don't see a clear looser between the Hondo and Trailhead.
This item is for RV connoisseurs who drives those million dollar RV trucks, there’s a lot o camping chair options in the market that can beat the price of that thing and will serve the same purpose
I spent hours trying different camp chairs and this one was easily the best. Sometimes you just have to suck it up and pay if you want something of quality.
People can usually accept paying a premium for something considered over engineered. It kinda eliminates the failure points associated with the less expensive, under engineered units on the market. Buy once, cry once.
I just bought 2 of the chairs and I really like them. They are very comfortable and built well.
Glad you like them
I have one, its heavy, durable and comfortable, it will last a long time due to the choice of materials. 😎

Yea, I hear ya. It's something you have to consider
Have thought about this too. The good thing is that they fold up easily and can be stowed quickly.
You could also add a cable with lock.
It’s called putting it away before you leave your camp unattended

Thanks for doing this review. Best of luck with your Chanel.
Much appreciated!

Glad it was helpful! I'm sure your husband will approve.

@@iKaresaboutNASCAR 250 ibs. weight capacity is a joke
@@whatitisnt. they have other chairs with higher capacity. We carry an XL version that holds 350
You get what you pay for, these are great chairs! I have a couple
Yes they are!
I just order this chair for my husband 😊 I’m sure I will get one too 🥰.
Seems like the Cabela's Big Outdoorsman Muskoka Chair is an $80 clone of this $300 yeti chair. Not bad alternative
Any problems with rear latch not staying latched or in “down” position? Mine pops up repeatedly.
No problems with mine
Great review!
Glad you enjoyed it
Thank goodness I get this at cost. Was just looking to see if the hype was real.
That sure helps
If I could get one at cost it’d be an easy buy. $300 hurts the pocket a lot. But, to never buy a camp chair again it could be worth it.

Sounds like you deserve it.

@@thegearbunker9842 but you still didn't answer which one is better Hondo or this?
I have a feeling I’m just gonna be buying half of yeti for my family as they only like essentials so at least this is high quality essentials
Your family will be very happy
The Blue one looks the dogs bollocks, must get one when I can afford one
Go for it
These are currently $150 at REI! 50% off
No Yeti products on REI
I find these never on sale anywhere.
