@@ThotsAndPrayers what you need to know for that is that you need the lowest downforce for every drift car for it to be more slidy, steering sensitivity is optional. What people dont talk about is deadzone, so i recommend anywhere fron 0.5% - 4% for the best transitions between drifts as deadzone corresponds to your analogue stick and the lower the deadzone the faster is response. Pavelzs17 thank you! I was experimenting myself and sort of figured that out. I also recently changed my deadzone from 10% to 5% and it made a world of a difference, not only in drifting, but for every activity!

Dude, I had to comment because holy crap. I felt comfortable drifting in this game (granted I know I've gotten into it kinda late) but I was struggling with the drift zones. Drift trials I always had plenty of room to get the score I needed, but zones were more restrictive and I couldn't hit 3 stars. Thanks to this vid and the RX7 build, I just crushed every single one in 1 or 2 runs. Appreciate your help!
The RX7 is on it's own level when it comes to drifting and drift scores. I was able to get 3 stars on every single drift challenge in a single day. Most of the challenges were easily done in one try.
Drifting is a way of understanding turns and curves, I advise you to drive slower, to accelerate as needed (the less you accelerate and the more you open your angle, the more you accelerate and the more you close your angle) so as to stay on the road while controlling your trajectory and not going into the grass. Doing zig zag drifting in a straight line will never teach you to score, the goal being to drift at low speed (the point is not to make the car sideways due to lack of grip and high speed , but well to control the glide with the motorization to take your turn). In that the game is really not badly done, even if it lacks precision and realism in the grip of the front tires. I therefore advise you to train yourself to drift on a very precise trajectory at low speed, with little acceleration at the start of the slide, without worrying about the score, subsequently, you can break all the scores by staying on the road and without zigzagging between two turns (which is detrimental because it prevents the vehicle from being properly positioned when approaching the turns to start a good drift). Finally, since the time, you have surely finished the game. So take the Mustang (65) or the Silvia, has 200 horsepower and works very trajectory and glides at low speed, then the Mustang Boss at about 600hp, to climb crescendo before the big power monsters. Have a nice day 👍
So, I started playing this game a few months ago, took a break and recently completed the story and am now just doing activities to clean up my map. The Koenigsegg is good for straight lines, but sucks for cornering, so is only useful for certain things.
