why is he so underrated though??!! I mean there were not much videos of him singing live when he's THIS GOOD???? I thought that the singer is much more senior as his song is very good and left huge impact on my emotion
he is not underrated he is just unpopular. his heyday was 20 years back. its just that now is not his generation and he isn't as active in live performances unless its his own concert and that too very rare. so not a lot of new gen knows him but those who know would always call him Korea's best ballad male singer.
The video titles are usually in Korean so I think that also affects the results when I search "Park Hyo Shin" I think. Anyways I don't know how youtube works but he is most definitely the best ballad singer in Korea as a fact but in my opinion also the best overall singer also.
he is known and popular in korea, his concerts are always sold out immediately, the musicals he is in also. i do tho think he deserves more international recognition. i don't think his heydays are gone, if times 20 years ago were his heydays than that's just sad, beceuse this was not happy times for him. i think how he slowly creates now new beautiful music is what makes him happy so i enjoy it with him.
