What a great idea by Tekno to send the broken parts for 50% off. Keeps customers happy and gives them instant statistics as to what parts keep breaking. No doubt that will help with durability of future revisions. A win for everyone.

For that center brace, a lot of us run that reversed so that you can add a pretty big fan on top without it interfering with the body. Just use 2mm shims so the fan clears the two center screws in the middle of the brace.

I never thought about someone hitting me from the side. Glad I've watched this video first because i was going to mount my fan to the side, not no more though. Thanks👍

I had the same Savox 1258 as you and after 2 battery packs she stripped out. Brand new only used twice. Now I need to rebuild the gears. Minimum torque requirements recommended by Tekno is 150oz and the 1258 is 166oz. Just barely cutting it..
I would recommend throwing in a bigger servo (like Protek 160) with torque in the 200’s range before you strip out your Savox. Or for anyone else reading this just a heads up. The Eb410 steering is very demanding and I noticed my 1258tg struggled a lot steering wise.

I been hitting the track up with my slash a lot. I need to upgraded to one of these buggies though. There are a few guys running these eb410s and I def want to build one soon. The track is so fun.

For a low cost 4wd option is the eb410 still a better kit compared to the D418? Or would you not recommend either now with the 410.2 available?

The xrays are beasts. They dont need alu caps. The tekno does

X-ray durability is unmatched. Don’t expect the same part quality from a tekno kit. They are pretty durable but they are not xrays

Have you broken your chassis yet, I broke 1 and my other chassis is getting the hair line fractures. This to me is a big problem with the car . I haven't had any other buggy break chassis like this thing

With that spur gear clearance this is not an outdoor car!. Your tires seem to say that ass well.

dude i been at this since the mid 80s ... yo don't break shit unless you hit shit ... wtf you wreck ur car and then expect the company to cover half on parts .. screw that learn to drive and buy your own parts so the company will be around for a long time to come
