Does it work on a Winkhaus AV3 multipoint door lock? With this lock, when you turn the Euro cylinder it retracts the multipoint deadlocks and they latch open; then you release the Euro cylinder to its centre position to pull the key and it leaves the multipoint deadlocks latched open; and when you close the door it automatically trips the release of the multipoint deadlocks. i.e. you only turn the the Euro cylinder one way to unlock, and you do not turn it the other way to lock it.
@@Helplocks According to my measurements but i could double check. the length between screws i got is 122mm so that should be fine. If it is a 95pz is there any other options?
@@Helplocks so it knows when the handle has been lifted or is this relying on a timer so you have 30 seconds to open the door go through it close and lift the handle then it locks. If this is the case it's bad design. If the handle wasnt lifted it will try to lock and can't. The Yale Conexis L1 locks as soon as the handle is lifted up and doesn't attempt to auto lock if the handle hasn't been lifted. However Yale's app is trash was hoping this was the answer but I think it isn't.
@@blairpoll287 yes it’s on a timer to auto lock but you set that time... fir example, mine is set to 2 minutes... if you want to lick sooner than your preset time, simply lift the handle & lock the door by touching the twist assist feature.
@@Helplocks but from outside I'd have to lift handle then lock via app or wait however long to check it's locked. The Yale I just lift the handle it locks job done doesn't matter if I take 10 seconds or 10 minutes to get through the door it will always auto lock once I lift the handle. Seems my search for a smart lock continues the Yale mechanically is good but the app sucks and so does the z wave module.

It’s a great alternative method of entry too... you can have up to 20 different codes & just like the phone access, you can control when each code can be used... ie 10am- 1pm every Monday instead of 24/7 access Conexis does not have the option of a keypad... nor does it auto unlock & the lack of key override means that if the batteries go or the app plays up (& it’s happened) you are left unable to use the door at all.

I am expat living in a non-english speaking country. I don't know the local language, which obviously is my lacking (the impact is that it's very difficult to communicate with the technicians here). I have a security/safety main door. I would presume it's multipoint - but there are no hooks but the cylinderical bolts that come out with the key rotation. Move of the door-lever doesn't make them move. There are no hooks like things. The area from where bolts come out I will call them points. So, there are 5 points in the door (Points = 1 top,1 bottom, 3 x side. Bolts: Side points function with 3 bolts each. Whereas the top and bottom points have one bolt each). Anyway, to me, the common sense suggests that it's only the cylinder move through key that controls the bolts. Given this, I presume that the lock of this door could be changed with this smart lock. Is my understanding correct? And, if yes, how difficult this operation could be ?
Ultion Smart will work nicely on a key-wined mechanism... as I can’t be sure of mechanisms outside the uk, if you remove the Euro cylinder lock & send a pic to Hello@helplocks.con & send pictures of your existing handle, I should be able to advise further... Kind regards, Paul Help Locks
Looks terrible compared to the Yale Conexis. My issue is I want a door that'll lock behind you automatically without having to pull any handles up etc. I've seen some products online such as the Yale Lockmaster AutoEngage or the Yale Autosecure for upvc doors, but there's no videos or anything showing how they actually work (currently have a Yale mantis which would need replacing). Are they spring loaded or do I need to wire electricity to the door? Do they work with the likes of the Yale Conexis too? Frustrating.
Hashterix “looks terrible compared to Yale Conexis”. Wow, we must be thinking of different products :) If you have a key wind mechanism you can have Ultion Smart lock behind you. If you are retro fitting to a door and this feature is a deal breaker, then you may just consider swapping your mechanism. Hooks on a new mechanism may not align with your old one so that would n Mean leaving holes on your door frame.... another solution would be to fit what we call an overnight centre case. You would no longer have a full strip with hooks but you would still have a latch & locking deadbolt.

What happens it you have a glass in your front door, if they smash it can they lean through and open your door
What happens if you have a lock that requires you to lift the handle to lock but you don't lift the handle? Would it damage or break the motor?
The lock will part turn, then stop. No damage to the motor or mechanism at all...

95pz are extremely rare... are you sure you need 95 rather than a 92?

Normally when i lock my door i need push up the handle to get those little hook out but how this one work to get those little hook out
You still need to lift the handle, then Ultion Smart will auto lock... this is the case for the majority of doors...
