THey deleted your account if you didnt. I had quite a few things ordered my whole account was deleted. Orders cancelled after like 4 months after ordering. It was so annoying. SK Lost me how they handled that .
My corporate google language translator was able to decipher that letter. "We shut down SK tools website because we are no longer making or selling any of that stuff, we auctioned of all our inventory, machines, and other assets right after the sale because we are moving all those operations to china." That was a nice gesture though.
I think it is the right thing to do, but it does not inspire confidence in SK going forward. Currently, I have been waiting for a warranty replacement for MONTHS now, and the replacement item is still not even expected to be available until AUGUST. Right now, I am treating my SK tools as collectibles and am avoiding using them whenever possible.
My big question is that since SK had three facilities where they were , is there only one facility in Johnstown where they are moving?, is it going to be big enough for the entire product line or are they going to reduce the amount of things they make?
@@GarnettTools I know they discontinued a ton of SKUs and were doing bulk sales of existing stock of those discontinued SKUs. A video on the Harry Epstein Co. UA-cam page talked about it a while back.
That was actually I nice gesture on their part. I hope the tools don't suffer from the changes. HF credit card is a foolish way to buy tools for sure! Thanks for the heads up.
The second SK was bought out is I left. Deleted my account and quit my socket of the month.
Exclusively buying Wright Tools now
