    P., I think back in our days most pregnancies were accidental. I'm Italian too, 53 years old, born in a small city called Cinisello Balsamo near Milano. Now, I'm in Cambodia dealing with severe multiple sclerosis... It's a long story. It's all an illusion, if you stay in the here and now, you discover that we create our own reality with our thoughts, that's why it's important to let the past go, especially traumatic or negative experiences. By letting go of the past, future and other thoughts, you create space inside you and in this space dwells the Divine. Once you are One with the Divine an overpowering FEELING of presence takes over your thinking process replacing it with a feeling of joy. We are part of the Divine, never alone, never forgotten, love is universal, hang in there! 😘🤗💖 I love you all!

      I think the past always affects the present. Denying it is just gaslighting ourselves. If you've been abused and your abuser just wants you to forget it every time it happens, you'll go nuts, constantly denying your reality. I think you need to acknowledge your past in order for it not to become your jailer.

    Sadie, when I listen to you talk about depression and the experience of having lived in it, it's like you are speaking a language that all the people in my life just don't understand! 🖤

    I've been depressed since I can remember and my experiences with psychodelic drugs had been the only way I can make my brain living another reality, one where I can actually think outside the dark box I've been living all my life. In my case was LSD and I can assure that those episodes had been life chaging.
    And although most of the times they have been wonderful experiences, I have also had others that were not so great. I think it depends a lot on the doses and the mental control you have, it is a challenge that is worth living.
    I've also tried magic mushrooms but for some reason they didn't have much of an effect on me, I just had visuals which were fun :)

    100% me too Sadie, I was on meds for bipolar and bpd for years, and I slowly began to introduce psychedelics, I am now off meds for a year now, and I have never felt better, they absolutely changed my world.

    I ❤ the video. I been smoking a J a day half my life to help keep my depression away. I treat it more so as a medication and not as a drug. And eating it is way better than smoking it. I found that out last month when I tried edibles🍬🍭 It kind of balanced out my moods better. Weed in what ever form I take it in helps me to be less of a B to the people around me. 🤣👍🎄🇺🇸

    I'm scared of psychadelics. I dated 3 people who took them and got badly treated by all 3. All relationships ended. Those 3 people didn't have your type of personality, though, Sadie. They were more narcissistic ADHD. Not depressives.

    hahah you two are like an old married couple re the forgetting of end of sentences. Really interesting chat and so well done. Sooo true about plant medicine, they are our teachers. The problem is big Pharma but it is all gonna change soon. Remember Sting did Ayahuasca and he said it changed him forever for the better. Also, many people have referenced this place as a dream. The famous Spanish writer Cervantes said this is the dream and reality is when we sleep. We have been living in a 3 d matrix which we are leaving behind now hence the chaos in the world. We are birthing a new world and it is painful but like all births it''ll be worth it. love and light

      We don’t promote it, but this is a plant medicine that if used correctly, has some therapeutic benefits. There are scientists studying it’s use for depression as well. All I know is that it helped me way more than antidepressants ever did.

    After my trip, that occurred several years ago, I felt like my personal programming was like clouds on the sky, and those programs were gone and sky was clear again. Overall it was a very healing experience for me, and I'm still integrating it into my daily life to this day. I know my mental patterns aka pathways very well, and sometimes I can change them, sometimes I can't, so I surrender and that's why do not create more of the tension.
    I just want to thank you both for sharing your life experiences, personal stories, your relationship, your travels and so on. I found you when I saw your vid about Tulum, Mexico. Thanks for an honest, not sugar-coated review with realness in there. Cheers! 👁👁👁

    You should back up your medicinal and health claims with scientific papers, otherwise it can be quite misleading for the public

      Psilocybin, an active compound in magic mushrooms, will become an extremely important tretament for depression and related issues in the future. It is very effective (way more than the current anti-depressants), long-lasting in its therapeutic effects, and safe. It could be a major game-changer in medicine regarding mental health.

    A lot of what you guys are saying is in line with Buddhism. Things like "we create our own pain" and the stuff about turning your crying into sth positive are totally in line with some central teachings.

    • @pepryan2183
      @pepryan2183 3 роки тому +1

      If Bad things have happened to you, though, it doesn't help to bury it under the carpet by saying "we create our own pain". We should work through it in therapy and shift ground and horizons that way. Suppressing it with superficial toxic positivity will just see the symptoms emerge in another way.

    • @marysusansusan
      @marysusansusan 3 роки тому

      @@pepryan2183 Of course. I wasn't at all saying we should bury our pain. What I was saying is that we have a lot of power in our perspective that we can use to transform our reality into something more positive as Sadie and P talked about in the video. Going through trauma, you have to be able to rewrite how your brain processes things as it can get stuck in one way.

    • @pepryan2183

      @@marysusansusan Ah ok. Yes, a good therapist can see your perspective, help you reach your blind spots, and help you tap into your self love.

    My recommendation for trauma is: find a good therapist.

    • @eliskatesarova3104
      @eliskatesarova3104 3 роки тому +3

      I think Sadie said she tried. But you know, it gets tiring after years of finding a therapist and none of them is a good match. And expensive. And I guess not everyone benefits from constantly talking about the trauma and feelings it gives you. Especially if you're socially awkward and it takes huge effort and time to connect with a therapist. So I get that she's trying to find an alternative.

    • @pepryan2183
      @pepryan2183 3 роки тому +1

      @@eliskatesarova3104 I think Sadie tried when she was a teenager. When you're very young, you don't have the experience to know who would be a good match. Yes, it takes time to research and some trial and error. I find it helps being older to be clear about exactly what you're looking for. Also, experience helps you decide what talking therapy approach works better for you : psychoanalysis, psychotherapy, Gestalt, person centred etc. It's a long term process that won't give you the instant fix you think you're getting from drugs. It digs deeper. Sometimes it does feel worse before it gets better.

    • @eliskatesarova3104
      @eliskatesarova3104 3 роки тому +2

      @@pepryan2183 Everyone has their own path. I've been in therapy for a year now and I have no regrets. But I can still emphatize with Sadie and her way of dealing with depression. If it's helping her, good for her. If you're in a deep depression state, therapy itself won't be enough. These mushrooms are probably keeping her away from suicidal thoughts, and now she can deal with everything (including her mental health issues) with more ease.

    • @pepryan2183
      @pepryan2183 3 роки тому +3

      @@eliskatesarova3104 Isn't it the same as having a little tipple of whiskey each day to keep the "demons" at bay? I have seen lots of evidence about the harm drugs can do, but not much warning people about the dangers of talking.

    • @eliskatesarova3104
      @eliskatesarova3104 3 роки тому +4

      @@pepryan2183 She says it has a long lingering effect, that it's not like an ecstasy and then you crush on the ground (like with alcohol or drugs). Would you say taking antidepressant is keeping your demons at bay? What it does is keep you stabilized, so you can focus on your deep issues, not spend all your energy on getting out of your bed in the morning. Risk should be talked about but to be honest, which medicine is without any risk? You can become more suicidal on ADs and I haven't seen anyone talk about that either. I'm sure more research will be made on this topic so we know about the risks and can choose "the best" option.
