Hello Janet, Hope I understood your question correctly. If the yarn is fine, you can thread the machine with multiple strands in a single eyelet. In my newer videos, I am using acrylic yarn 2/28, and I am threading the machine with up to 3 strands (in a single eyelet) without having any problems. Recently, I knitted doilies using 2 strands of light blue and 1 strand of dark blue acrylic yarn.
@@ArtOfClay Hi and thank you so much for your reply. It's exactly what I wanted to know. My yarn is cashmere 1-strand and so fine that it won't make a solid fabric, it comes out like lace. If I can use 2 strands then I can make a sweater. I hope to see the new videos, but are they published yet?
@@ArtOfClay You mentioned that you have new videos using 2-3 colours together. I would like to ask another question, is there a way to knit on the Passap a turtle-neck sweater in the round from the top down? The ribbing of the collar I suppose would need to be done extra, but the shaping of the neck would be a problem, or is there a way to do that? I'm excited to think there might be a solution!
That is the video where I am using different color strands: ua-cam.com/video/PMaxiJzfjqE/v-deo.html I haven't knitted sweaters yet (so I am not sure), but I guess you won't be able to make the sweater that way. You are right for the ribbing. It must be done on both beds because you must have one needle knit and one purl (or 2X2 etc.). If I come up with an answer to this question, I will let you know.
Slowly following your video to give my pinky duomatic a go. Thank you very helpful.
Ah, that's AWESOME! I wish you happy knitting! 😊
very helpful : your video is magic / Je n'avais rien trouvé d'aussi clair et bien expliqué en français : merci merci merci . I subscript
Thank you for the kind words! I am happy to hear the videos are of help!
Hello and thanks for this video. Can I knit two colours at the same time if the yarns are fine?

Yes, if you use more strands, the fabric will be solid. Make sure you are using an appropriate stitch size.
What video are you interested to see?
