3:39 Ha ha, I laughed at the "It happens..." bit 😁 It sure does! I always put a small cotton ball up my butt crack on the first night of my period, to stop things from going any further 😆 and it works like a charm 👍 You work is beautiful, thank you for sharing! 🥰
My life changed when I figured out you can fold 2 sheets of toilet paper, between the cheeks, and never leak out the back of your pad again. My deepest darkest secret lol
I have to say that I am thrilled I found your channel today. Your videos are great and are giving me confidence to give making my own pads a try. I honestly wasn't even thinking about it until you asked me if I was going to try to make my own in response to a comment I made on one of your videos. Now, I am binge-watching your how-to videos! Thank you for sharing your knowledge with the rest of us! PS ~ Your KAM link is the Etsy Bamboo Fabric link. ;)
i hope you tried it! it felt really empowering and fun to make my own, it´s really so much cheaper, than buying them, and i used basically free materialy for my first patch, (and later got some really pretty topper fabrics when i was more experienced) and i love how they feel. I´ve never worn single use pads, always tamposn for all my life, but cloth pads are very different for me than single use.
I have always had terrible trouble with my periods, they are very heavy and fast flowing an prone to leaking, theyre awful. I think if I bought some exposed core pads and some interlabial pads and sewed them together myself, it might be the perfect solution. I dont think im ready to sew a whole pad on own yet! Havent seen that combo in any shops yet so I will try myself!
Great video, as ever.👍 It’s sad, that you warn about the theme in the beginning. It should be normal as talking about breakfast. I’ m a human I breathe I’m a woman, I bleed. You want children? So deal with it! It’s normal.
I just found this video, but has anyone really used a pad like this? It's the first time seeing one like this, does it actually work? I'm subscribing, like your videos
Hi ! Great video! I saw that you have a fast pressing board.. thats a cool idea for small projects.. Do you already have a video of doing that? I have a regular folding pressing table but It's so heavy that i end up never using it 😂 regards
Lately when I sew with flannel, I find it bunching up (I think the term is ‘puckering’) in my machine and stretching. This is my first time experiencing this, but I’m a new sewer. I’ve lowered my tension and changed my needle, but still having issues! Any tips? Maybe ironing the fabric before I try sewing?
It could be as simple as picking up your presser foot more often. On curves especially, I have to really pay attention so that my fabric doesn't get bunchy. I don't have a walking foot, but I think those are supposed to help.
I'm going to make some for me and my mom. I also ordered period underwear from Etsy with lining all the way up in the back and a good way forward. Good luck!

You're the one creator that made it very clear on what I needed to use to make beautiful quality pads. Thank you so much!!
Your very welcome !
This is so excellent! Your a great teacher and very skilled! Thanks for sharing this with us 🙏🥰
This is the first time I'm trying to make pads.....but this is the 3rd video I've watched...and ultimately the ONLY TUTORIAL I NEED!! Thank you!!
Thanks ❤️
This is one of my favorite prints of all time. I keep some in my drawer for spring pads!
I'm excited to watch the rest of the video!
I love it too

I’m so glad. You can do this!!

Doesn’t sound vain at all… I’m with you on that one: Anything that falls in the toilet is GONE. 🤣🤣🤷🏽♀️
For sure girlfriend ✌🏻
Thank You, Billette’s Crafts 💐for creating & sharing this!
Thanks for the video! I'd love to see one on making wet bags. 😁
Go to my channel! I have one there
You're awesome I wished I found you sooner.
I really like your videos, very helpful. Can you make a video of liner cloth pads? Thank you!
Very helpful, thank you.
BRILLIANT!!!
I gush, I may try this and see if it helps with side leaks.
Thank you Billette.
Welcome
Thank you so much again!❤️
Super great idea! Might work well for incontinens too. Just wondering how it feels on a bikeride😳
Ha! You get used to it
Great video, as ever.👍

I know right. Totally normal! You’d be amazed at the rude comments I’ve gotten before so sometimes I warn people 🤣
Would these work as bladder leak pads? What would you use differently for the absorbent
Yes they would, try three layers
No silly questions right? I want to make some for for my daughter. Do you make like a little bag or something to carry soiled ones home?
Yes, I have a video on my channel for wetbags !
I just found this video, but has anyone really used a pad like this? It's the first time seeing one like this, does it actually work? I'm subscribing, like your videos
Thank you, yes I have many I use and they were popular when I sold them in my Etsy shop.
Привет из Кыргызстан 🇰🇬👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I am not liking some that I purchased. This flap is perfect to make the purchased ones better. Thank you!!
Could i just hand sew it?
Hi ! Great video!
I saw that you have a fast pressing board.. thats a cool idea for small projects.. Do you already have a video of doing that? I have a regular folding pressing table but It's so heavy that i end up never using it 😂 regards
Maybe I’ll make a video
I cant seem to get first video that has the pattern. can you link the pattern .
Wooow!!!
Do you think I could use buttons rather than snaps?
Try it! It will not be as convenient but give it a go
Omg you're so amazing

I’ve never had flannel to this. Trying pinning it down really well. Also ironing it before hand. Send me a pic on Instagram of what it’s doing
Ahh, that's annoying... :/ Have you prewashed the fabric, before sewing? Shrinkage it's the only thing that comes to my mind as an explanation... 🤔
@@siiiriously3226 maybe clean under the plate of the machine or check tension of machine?

I have had great success with my walking foot!
wear get pads for fecal incontenance? I have used disposable store pads for this. But hope to find something better.
I'm going to make some for me and my mom. I also ordered period underwear from Etsy with lining all the way up in the back and a good way forward. Good luck!
“Up Your Butt Crack” ~ The Struggle Is Real 😉 & So Are CRUNCHIE Craft Scissors 🤣😘
I bleed in the front. Would I attach the flap in the middle still or at the front
Try one in the middle and one that goes towards the front
That’s right, I thought about it.
Do you have a shop in need pay your cloth pad you make.iam from Saudi Arabia
Where do I get the heavy organic bomboo fleece, am from Nigeria
Etsy or amazon
Will this be strong enough for incontinence wetting?
The flow of blood is different than urine. For urine, I would use a wider and longer coverage and maybe more absorbency
Hi I just found you and was wandering do you sell any ready made pads?
Not anymore, thx for reaching out though. Hopefully someday I will again
How can I do a order?
I am trying to make my own and it’s hard :(
Practice!! Patients and a hot cup of tea ❤️
now I need to learn how to use a sewing machine
Easy! Grab a 100 dollar one at Walmart. I am self taught too. So many great tutorials here on the tube to teach you 👏
Where do you get your fabric?
Everywhere ✌🏻
Where can i find the pattern?
Versodile on etsy
😮😮😮😮
Are you no longer making and selling your pads? 😪
Oh and what sewing machine do you use/recommend?
No I’m not, I know, I miss it. Let me link you to a good one
This is close to what i have and I love it
www.amazon.com/dp/B008G1DJ9Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_t1_ijWcGbXA1SW99
This is a dumb question... Are you putting the pretty side against your body or undies?
Against you
Not dumb, I wondered that too
❓️Where do you get your template from? Do you think a core plap also helps with incontinence?
I don’t know about incontinence , give it a try. I got my pattern homemade or from Versodile
@@billettescrafts Thanks for answering ❣️

Why would you want to place a core flap?
Catches the flow or heavy gush of fluid and draws it into the core of your pad
