    Today's video is a tutorial on sewing your own reusable cloth pad with a core flap! A core flap is a topper piece that helps direct the flow of your cycle right into to core absorbency of your pad. No more Interlabial pads falling into the toilet!!

    I have to say that I am thrilled I found your channel today. Your videos are great and are giving me confidence to give making my own pads a try. I honestly wasn't even thinking about it until you asked me if I was going to try to make my own in response to a comment I made on one of your videos. Now, I am binge-watching your how-to videos! Thank you for sharing your knowledge with the rest of us!

      i hope you tried it! it felt really empowering and fun to make my own, it´s really so much cheaper, than buying them, and i used basically free materialy for my first patch, (and later got some really pretty topper fabrics when i was more experienced) and i love how they feel. I´ve never worn single use pads, always tamposn for all my life, but cloth pads are very different for me than single use.

    I have always had terrible trouble with my periods, they are very heavy and fast flowing an prone to leaking, theyre awful. I think if I bought some exposed core pads and some interlabial pads and sewed them together myself, it might be the perfect solution. I dont think im ready to sew a whole pad on own yet! Havent seen that combo in any shops yet so I will try myself!

    I saw that you have a fast pressing board.. thats a cool idea for small projects.. Do you already have a video of doing that? I have a regular folding pressing table but It's so heavy that i end up never using it 😂 regards

    It’s sad, that you warn about the theme in the beginning.It should be normal as talking about breakfast. I’ m a human I breathe I’m a woman, I bleed. You want children? So deal with it! It’s normal.

    Lately when I sew with flannel, I find it bunching up (I think the term is ‘puckering’) in my machine and stretching. This is my first time experiencing this, but I’m a new sewer. I’ve lowered my tension and changed my needle, but still having issues! Any tips? Maybe ironing the fabric before I try sewing?

    • @billettescrafts
      @billettescrafts  3 роки тому +1

      It could be as simple as picking up your presser foot more often. On curves especially, I have to really pay attention so that my fabric doesn't get bunchy. I don't have a walking foot, but I think those are supposed to help.

      Его просто заменить на другой,свежиц листочек.
