this was an underrated season imo, everyone shits on it for being trash but I loved it personally. Rick in this season reminds me of season 5 rick where he didn't care and just went psycho 😂 that's my take on the season tho ik most people would disagree.
Yes rick is ruthless in this season but it still felt slow. The war should have ended mid season, with time skip and whisperer introduction for 9B. Carl never dies, rick never leaves. We get season 9 and 10 and show is done.

The first half is awful. Super slow and absolutely no character development except for 1 and 4. And then carls death was terrible. The second half is criminally underrated tho I have to say. Simon arc of wanting to overthrow negan. Dwight’s character. Ricks character arc. That episode where the saviors infect the hilltops fighters. And an underrated season finale. Yes it has its flaws but it still feels like the walking dead and that’s enough Imo.
