- We checked out a mountain bike trail called Smith Park Mountain Bike Trail, located just south of Nashville in Brentwood, TN! This exciting trail opened this spring and offers a fantastic outdoor experience. However, there's an important reason why you'll want to come well-prepared.
Love it! Glad to see you guys and so many enjoying the trail. It IS work, but rewarding.
Just checked out this trail this past Saturday (Aug 2nd) with my new Cannondale and my 10 yr son to boot with the heat!! Though we didn't have time to do it all, we had fun on the green trail with a little bit of the blue trails. Proud how well he did for his first "mountain bike/offroad trail" ride. We'll definitely be back to explore all trails!
Great to hear you liked it.
Hi, I looked for an email to send a PM, assuming you are in our area, my hubby and I also learned to ride in our 50's. We taught ourselves to ride at Chickasaw Trace, didn't even know about other trails, Chicky was our local trail (love Death Ditch), then found there were a lot of trails in the Nashville area. We have subscribed to your channel and can't wait to see what you post. We also rode Smith Park and yeah, it's fun til your tired and ready to leave (we also got turned around). We have not been back to date, but it did have some amazing trails at the bottom. We have so many fun places to ride in the Nashville area.
Nashville has some fun trails! A few of our favorites are Jones Mill (techy) and Cane Ridge (Phase 1-3 are flowy, phase 4 is tech). Here's a link to the local trails around here. www.sorbamidtn.org/current-conditions Hope to see you out there! -Michelle
@@MarkMichelleMTBMisadventures yes we ride Jone Mill and Cane Ridge all the time. Have you rode AEDC. Nice scenic ride about 14 miles.
@@stephaniegates7478 Do tell, where is that?
I’m really glad and proud to have such a nice MTB trail right at the heart of Williamson County! Thanks for this vid, guys! Highly recommended!
I'm 61 and love climbing on my ebike 😊
Was great seeing y'all out there on opening day and great video presentation. lol at nobody (including me) getting "Emeline's" name right! Definitely dont avoid, unless you got weak, jelly legs.
Thanks, great to see you guys out there as well. Your video is much more informative than ours. Great to see the trails we didn’t ride and you handled the climbing much better. 👍
The trails seem really cool.
It is a great trail.
Is there much climbing?
😂
Literally says in the video there's a lot of climbing.
Sorry, gotta poke a little fun here, less than 300' of elevation gain in 2 miles isn't much of a climb compared to my trails. I usually climb around 2000' per ride, and the elevation gain comes in the first 4 to 6 miles. I'm in my mid 50's and ride analog only, thankfully e bikes are banned on most of our trails. Colorado has climbing. Lovely forest.
We like flow over climbing.
The only reason i owned a mtb, because it is such a cushy ride for commuting...going back to a stiff bike was a tragedy...all bikes should have front suspension at the very least (w/suspension seat post)....
You guys are funny.
You guys don't ride much huh? 😂
Man, if you believe this is a climb, well, you simply have no idea what a climb really is.
Oh, a lot of climbing. That's a hard pass for me. I did that once and that was enough for me.
