- Union Pacific's Kane Creek Branch serves a potash plant near Moab, Utah between Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. Stunning red cliffs dwarf trains that meander along the Colorado River. See Union Pacific's weekly Potash Local framed by the spectacular Corona Arch!

Any railfan who isn’t subscribed to this channel is just missing out
Great channel came here from Distant Signal recommendation.
Danny Harmon of Distant signal pointed me to this fine channel and he was right!! ... great video's and excellent narration ... subscribed immediately ... keep it coming !!
This is definitely one of my favourite of your films. The scenery is unlike anything else.
Yes I love railroading and bicycle touring throughout the desert southwest.
I own a few of your videos and was excited to see Danny recommend your channel. Awesome work, thanks for uploading!
Thank you and I am grateful for his recommendation.
Great video . Have a blessed night
Fantastic work, as always. I was waiting for Airwolf to appear in some of this scenery, or Black Mesa Research facility. Breathtaking.
Actually if you continue south of Moab to Valley of the gods, you will recognize a few formations Airwolf did fly over.
Dannyv Harmon sent me. Brings back Backpacking memories :)
0:18 that is one HELL OF A SHOT. Fantastic work, bravo.
Thank you!
FANTASTIC SCENERY! 4K WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
I LOVE trains. Your cinematography of your train videos are superb. Your narration spot on. Kudos to you sir for sharing your rail fanning experiences. The scenery is breath taking !!
Thank you very much!
As always absolutely stunning photography
Man !!!! What a beautiful place to work!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊😊 SUBBED !!!😀😀😀🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂🍺🍺🍺🍺
Aside from the spectacular scenery, visually, I enjoy (and prefer) seeing the traditional style UP locomotives with their name on them as opposed to the flag adorned variety, as well as older boxcars and rolling stock that only seems to be visible on branch lines such as this. It's also interesting to me that this is still one of the branch lines UP the company operates, as opposed to a smaller short-line or rail leasing operations running in other locations like this around the country. Fantastic video! Thanks for sharing!
Glad I found this. Recommended from Distant Signal. These were the kind of videos I've been searching for aside his. Thanks!
I am glad to have you aboard and a big thanks to Danny (Distant Signal) for being kind enough to recommend this channel!
@@7ideaproductions Keep up the excellent work. Your production is exceptional quality.
Spectacular.
Another great video in a beautiful land. Every one needs to see that area in person. Thanks 😊
Thanks for your hard work gathering ll the film and information, a beautiful place
Thank you!
Breathtaking video! Makes me feel like I’m there.
Thank you, but nothing compares to being there. It is worth seeing in person.
Absolutely awesome.
Excellent video! 👍👍❤🙂🙂
Thanks for sharing these beautiful videos! Love everything UNION PACIFIC!!!
Been to Moab many times and always wondered about the RR there.
Also on the south side of Moad, there is an Illinois Central RR semi-trailer. Been there for over twenty five years. Was still there when we were out there in 2016.
Excellent video!! Scenery, sounds, history, etc.
Very nice video! Beautiful scenery and exciting views!
Awesome video!
Superb!! video sir ❤❤❤❤
Excellent clip video!
Great filming. You got super close to the train in the canyon.
What an excellent video. Your channel was recommended by Danny Harmon of Distant Signal Productions. It's interesting that UP #1344 was originally built for the D&RGW. Your video style has encouraged me of how to improve my channel of videoing trains. Thanks again.
Wow! I live in Utah over by Zion National Park, but no trains (that I know of). This is giving me ideas for a spring road trip! Fantastic production!
nothing like action on the Cane Branch.
The town sounds like the one in the movie "Cars"
Tyler Mac This is my favourite the train is coming
Nice
Make a really good scenic line when it's service days are finished
Good video. That contaminated dirt isn't being buried "deep in the book cliffs" however. Its quite visible from the intestate and google
I heard about the potash plant there.
Chou de bola top mui mto bom
Canyonlands is actually National Park
Can you guys upload the full video of “Coal trains of the Powder River Basin” please?
Wow. A Katy coal hopper
Is it just me, or do a couple of these cuts look quite similar to Bloomer Cut, outside Newcastle, CA?
What are those vertical tubes for at 8:53?
Are you gonna be updating the Union Pacific Laramie Subdivision DVD soon
0:22 Canyonlands state park ? When did Canyonlands National Park get demoted to state park ?
You are correct, it is a National Park. Either the scriptwriter or the narrator got it wrong. Oh wait! They're both me!
choo choo
Why are of these trains pulled with with engines? There are only a cars.
Plant ?
What year was this filmed?
2014
FYI photo dates from other fans who caught this have the job working on FRIDAYS as of summer 2023...
