Since you mentioned the raisin in the rice, it seems like it's a variation of Afghan "Kabuli rice" which is popular in Pakistan, so you might consider trying Afghan food, mantu dumplings, kababs, and burani banjan eggplants are also worth trying. Good luck thanks for sharing!
