Enhanced slickdraw is only showing a 15% decrease in AA cones on foundry right now. A few days ago it was showing a 50% decrease. If that's true it's huge, and opening shot will pretty much negate the penalty.

@@juvaungriffiths5232 we need to be able to focus these weapons at Eva. Idk like 100 silver leaves each could work. Not being able to focus loot tied to a YEARLY event is just dumb.
The bounties seem to have a good drop rate of the shotgun

Bow dropped a lot less for me yesterday compared to the 1st day I played the activity. Maybe just rng, maybe they changed the weighing server side? Definitely had more hc and shotties drop than before though the shotty is still the rarest drop by the looks of it.
I pulled the exact same roll you showed: Rifled Barrel, Assault Mag, Slickdraw, Opening Shot, and a Range Masterwork. Took 20+ hours of farming, but it was well worth it. Best of luck to everyone who isn't done yet.
got a 5/5 threat detector 4/5 slick draw so im torn between both lol
Same as me except accurized rounds which is what I wanted it has 92 range even for follow up shots lol. Feels so good though def replacing my matador.
Hours and hours and haven’t seen this drop yet completing 4-5 green bounties per bonfire bash I bet I’ve gotten 150+ compass rose. I know rng will rng but this even needed something to improve loot focusing

2:00 I assume you know this, but (for whatever reason) there is a short window of damage resist when using your class ability. So when the enemy is placing a barricade or in this example a rift, he takes less damage for a brief moment. Most likely why the shotgun didn’t 1 hit here.
That's definitely what happened against the Warlock. The pellets were only hitting for 18 or 19 and he was point blank. If you stop the video at 3:17 you can see the damage numbers. It looks like he landed 10 out of 12 pellets, which is exactly what you need for a OHK on a precision frame when they hit for full damage.

Nice to see something other than the typical threat detector opening shot roll that everyone is always idolizing. Also great that you took the time to get and test out this shotty roll too while others would just dismiss it without having ever tried it.
I got a good td\os roll of it, but the slickdraw\os still eludes me. Got a 4\5 w\ barrel constrictor 😢 and one sd\os w\ all shht other traits. I've probably gotten over 200 rolls of this thing so far, I don't believe Bungie saying they don't weigh certain perks.

Just got the 5/5 god roll. Rifled, Assault mag, Slickdraw, Opening shot, ranged MW - soooooo happy and so glad i'm done farming it
I got a threat detector, opening shot roll but only 68 range. Should I keep grinding for a better one?
Get better with range. For threat detector the god roll would be barrel shroud, accurized, threat, opening, handling mw.
slickdraw is legimately pretty insane on any weapon that doesn't require to be accurate to achieve max effectiveness, which would be every spread shotgun in the game sense the downsides to slickdraw have no affect on said shotguns
the only shotguns where it would have a huge draw back too would be slugs, which obviously is because they rely much more on precision than normal shotguns- which slickdraw obviously screws over. Long story short, on a spread shotgun it'll have max handling at all times regardless of anything else
I'm on MnK and i have used slick draw alot on risswalker and retrofuturist for ages. the riiswalker i uave has iron reach+slickdraw and it has served me well. now i have a god roll compass. its incredible

If threat detector, you want barrel shroud/accurized/handling. If slickdraw, rifled/assault/range mw. IMO

For the clip with the warlock not dying, they get a bit of dr when casting rift and he was still in the animation, probably a good bet as to why it didn’t kill

personally slick shot is good if you DONT use Ophidian, with Ophidian makes 0 diff.
This is obvious? All slickdraw does is give 100 handling, so obviously it'd be pointless if you already have 100 handling from gun stats and an exotic. In fact, a conventional threat detector roll with ophidians is going to be better than just the 100 handling from slickdraw because of threat's animation scalars.
That’s what I thought til I used it. Just having that 100 handling with the .95 draw speed though constantly makes you feel like you’re on steroids or something. I was sliding around left and right felt like I can’t lose lol. I know threat is sick too it gives you the handling when you need it for sure but I dunno 100 range 100 handling at all times just felt nutty to me.
I had the same impression I just had a smile on my face using it while thinking I hope everyone doesn’t catch onto this so they nerf slickdraw on shotties lol. I don’t notice it at all just feels incredible and all my games were in ascendant comp and trials on a flawless card farming eye of sols so I was playing decent players too.

I was on quick access I’ve seen ppl run targeting. I am not sure what’s best honestly
AA helps with gun performance slightly I would believe. Quick access sling provides % modifier to animation so much better up close.
What about slickdraw snapshot sights? Any good ? Or dismantle

I honestly don’t know, everyone was kinda saying it’s not worth it but like having tried I literally noticed no difference
It lowers aim assist but doesn't reduce reticle stickiness.
Yeah my issue is that matador 64 is just better and threat detector has no downsides compared to slickdraw, with the perfect roll you will have 78 handling with 1x threat detector on matador so its only a 22 handling difference. Would be nice to have one for solar builds, being able to save on some armor energy with harmonic mods though.

Got old version of compass with snapshot and quick draw plus 100 range. Works fine for me
Got one with smoothbore on it and I’m afraid to try it lol I assume smoothbore would be terrible with it already having decreased aim assist from slickdraw

What could be going on here is that slickdraw on controller doesn’t affect reticle friction so it might be a controller shotty
I think we also have to keep in mind that Destiny is P2P and we will always experience guns and melee not connecting. This gun feels amazing and I barely have a 4/5.
Maybe that wiff on the first warlock “could’ve” been pellets hitting the wall next to him. Potential reason maybe? Because he was super close to the wall 🤷♂️

@@mythe6669 nope. Instead of just 4-6 weapons you get like 9-12 loot drops half armor half weapons. I too didn’t do the armor at first because of that but once I did the armor I realized it was the way bro 😎

@@ssjronin3972 just went and checked, DMG put out a post 5 days ago retweeting Fallout, fallout asked about the weapon drops in bonfire bash, d2 team replied they had passed on the feedback so I hope they rebalance it

Don't dismantle that roll. It's possible Barrel Constrictor will be reworked to actually be decent. Currently it's ass though

Yes, yes it is. Been talking about slick draw things like shotty. It's free handling for nothing. Pellets either hit or they don't. On a slug? Sure it's ass. But lemme tell you! It performs like ecap on arc. Huge roll and no one's talking about it or taking it too too seriously.

You don’t even really need a 5 out of 5 honestly. Mine got rifled accurized and reload masterwork and still 99 range 100 handling so reload or stability not even bas rather than 1 range. Or you could use assult mag like you got in your roll but mine is more than enough for me.

Been using the eremite with slickdraw since it came out, got more than 1K kills with it, its a goated perk on specials
Awake, I did test one with slickdraw and one without.
To break it down for you, slickdraw reduces the auto aim stat by 50-45% The higher the auto aim cone stat, the tighter the and more predictable the shot is going to be, and the wider the bullet magnetism cone
At 72 range, Both of them max at 5 meters killing range, so the bullet magnetism cone isnt affected at all, and comparing their spread, there is no difference at all.
So in conclusion, slickdraw provides ZERO downsides to shotguns, and in my opinion is makes threat detector on this gun obsolete.

The aim assist cone does not affect pellet spread, that's why there's no difference. The spread is a set pattern based on the center pellet, which is the only pellet with a cone at all. A lot of people think each pellet has its own cone.

Threat detector works as a additional source of info to radar. Some people prefer it because od this reason and % modifier that Threat provides as well with addition of handling buff.
If you're using Ophidians in combination with T.D. you're getting quite a bit more handling by way of scalers, but Slickdraw is goated on shotguns if you aren't using Ophidians

Not really, maybe more consistent for mid to low level players but the ceiling is higher on mnk for sure

My roll is Smallbore Accurized Slickdraw OS Range MW. As good as yours in vid, rarely whiff and if it does, Matador would do it as well

Threat detector provides handling buff and animation modifier. It’s different than 100 handling. TD also gives additional info on location of enemies. Slickdraw and threat might are both valuable it might differ based on input and personal preference based on playstyle.
