I think they actually meet in the upcoming animated movie, Dead Island. Which is also the first new Jill content chronologically since 5 which is neat.
They didnt in the game because it happened around two days before Jill going to RPD They escaped around September 28th meanwhile the explosion were around 29-30th
No actually resident evil 3 begins on September 28th up until the part where Jill gets infected by Nemesis Stage 2. Then the following night September 29th resident evil 2 happens, Leon, Claire and sherry escape. On the night of September 30th Jill is cured by Carlos in the hospital, gets the vaccine, kills nemesis and they escape in the early morning hours of October 1st when the explosion happens.
It's as bad as if they were drawing it in a Windows app. And in the finale, for some reason, they shoot pistols at a huge invulnerable creature, although at the very beginning they realized that even rockets and machine guns could not cause damage, it made me laugh.@@selinawalsh9075
