Incredible lesson
Thank you mate. Hope you are well 👍
Once again, this is impressive! The track came out today, how have you worked it out and filmed a lesson on the day of release again! You deserve more credit & followers. Thank you.
Thank you once again. 👍
Awesome!!!!!!!! This was instantly one of my favorite setzer licks of all time. The second i heard it. Great job, man!!!!!!! Thank you for your work!!!
Hi mate, it’s a cool track. Sounds like the new album is gonna be a belter! Thanks for the support buddy 👍
Tremendous!!! This will be a hoot to work on. Thanks!! Have a great weekend, Dean 🤠
Thank you mate. Hope you enjoy it! It’s certainly a good work out with all the picking 😁
Nice playing and tone! Wh model Gretsch is that and are you using an amp?
Thank you. That’s the Gretsch 6120 Setzer Hotrod (Candy Apple 2002). It’s a great guitar to play! All of the online tutorials are usually done through one of the Neural DSP (or Blackstar St. James) plug-ins. Thanks, Dean.
Can you share your amp settings? Thats a perfect tone you have there. I have a Gretsch Chet Atkins and an HK Grandmeister Deluxe amp, so i should be able to get close.
Hi mate, I love the HK! I use a Tubemeister for gigs, it’s a great amp 👍 So, all of the online tutorials are done with Neural DSP Tone King plug in. The only thing I use seperate is the Eventide spring reverb. It’s basically the same signal chain as when I use my valve amp. Compressor 2:1 ratio, push the valves a bit, short delay & spring reverb in the fx chain 👍 Hope that helps a bit 😁
its great . but can you play the whole thing allthogether . that would be great . and do you have a backing track. greetz from hannover
Thanks. I’ll look into doing a play through when I get chance. There’s no backing track for this one I’m afraid mate. Cheers, Dean.
This is Brian Setzer's long lost son, birthed by Judy Dench.
Haha brilliant comment! 🤣🤣👍
