Thanks Davie! I started this vlog for my Dutch family and friends but then I got so many responses of people that wanted to follow my adventures that I switched to English! Thanks for following me :)
@@floramuijzer1 I saw that your friend Diego was headed to Kuala Lumpur? I have relatives who lives in KL and they told me the covid-19 situation is BAD :(
Just come off a 1,200 km and 14 days tour here in Thailand. That was tough enough and there was virtually no climbing though it was very windy. Mine was unsupported also in my defense. Good effort guys and a nice trip.
when the bike is ship to China , do you have to pay tax when you get it? I want to buy a bike from US but not sure if I have to pay tax or net, could you tell me ?
Hi Bruce, it is as safe a cycling in any other big city. Shanghai is dangerous because of the hectic traffic. In other places it could be dangerous because they are not used to cyclists so much. I would say not more or less dangerous than anywhere else ;-)
In official places we do use masks. On the bike it's not needed and in the places where there are zero cases also not needed. In Shanghai we do wear masks much more.
Wonderful
UA-cam recommended this video, your video is really fun to watch. keep uploading your life experience in china. thank you
Thanks Ivan! That's awesome to hear! :-D
Yes! Please use English in the future 🤙 Here in America, we are delighted to see the Dutch are having fun there in China!!

Amazing rural scenery. Some of that architecture looks very thai-like too👌
It does because it's in the very south of China, close to the border or Myanmar and Vietnam.
I love cycling too, especially for a long trip~
Cycling is a great way to see the nature!
I'll be in China in March and want to bike southern Yunnan. Can you give any details about your route--it looks wonderful!

Sounds great! Once we can cross borders, I will have to cycle Thailand too!
Thanks for sharing! This is biking trip I have been thinking about for a while. Did you get your canyon bike in China?
My bike is Argon18 brand, but my friend's is Canyon. He bought it in Germany. You can get most brands here though nowadays
Wow love to join you all 😜
👏👏👏👍👍👍
Is road biking big in China? Would love to bike there.
It is!! Very big in Shanghai at least but I see cyclists all around China where I have been. There are many mountains to ride here !

213国道,不是改道!
is it safe cycling in china ?

No mask in December 2020?

The subject should be 国道, not 改道. 改道 means road change. 国道 means state road.
Oopsie daisy.. My Chinese needs a bit of improvement apparently.. Thanks for the tip ;-)
