Vanyayuyay, interesting video. However, may I point out that when you switched from AK to Canada, the town of Inuvik is in-NEW-vick, rather than IN-you-vick. Nearby are 2 more towns with odd names: Aklavik (ah-CLAH-vick, and Tuktoyaktuk = tuck-tuh-YACK-tuck (which was momentarily on the screen at 5:56). By the way, I'm not Canadian. Rather, I (from IL) developed a sort of hobby a few years ago trying to find place names with unexpected pronunciations, and I'm now over 2600 in the USA, and about 350 in Canada. Also, the 2 places in the north which get farther north by far than Russia are northern Greenland, and northern Canada.
@@vanyayuyay, what I've done the past few years of working on that project is to first check Wikipedia, since in many cases, there's a correct pronunciation on the site. If that doesn't show up, you could just type in the name on UA-cam, and see if someone visited there. A third option, if the first 2 don't work, is to get on google maps, and look for a business in the town, and give them a call. It depends upon how far you want to go. Have a good day.
