- I'm cleaning the waterways from the embankment to the rice fields. Although there's a separate cleaning day scheduled for members of the irrigation association, the number of members has been decreasing every year, and those remaining are mostly elderly. I'll do some cleaning within our capabilities beforehand.

スコップの棒を長くすると楽な姿勢で作業できます。木の柄じゃなくて鉄パイプの柄で、持つところ（持ち手）を高速カッター若しくはグラインダーで切り飛ばし同じようなサイズの木を突っ込むんです。長さを長くすると腰の負担が少なく、とても楽です。海外のスコップを参考にされるといいと思います。まずはお試しに古びた鉄製のスコップで試してみると良いですよ♪

ウチはアスコンショベルというパンチ穴が開いた角スコ使ってます。
余計な水を掬わなくて済むんでだいぶ楽になります。

排水路もそうですが特に用水路は農業の肝と言える施設であるので、管理にひっじょーに手間がかかりますね､､､🫠
オープントラフ、特に中山間地域は落ち葉や土砂が酷い酷いで土砂揚げには苦労されたと思います🫠

Why start from upstream? If you start from downstream and work up, the water should help you clear itself. It must not matter much when it's so clogged?

If we let the water flow as it is, the leaves will quickly clog it, causing the water to overflow. That's why we are removing the leaves little by little like this.

How old is this waterway? What is the drop from top to bottom? Where in the country is it? Who built it?

This waterway was built nearly 100 years ago by a local landowner. It is approximately 1.5 km long, but the elevation difference is only about 7 meters.
What is the purpose of that canal?

In autumn, this channel stops the water flow. In spring, it starts flowing again. Therefore, if the fallen leaves that accumulated over the winter are not removed, it will get clogged.

落ち葉は水が流れている時は、常に川に流れているものですから、自然に分解されます。それでも、動画のように極力流れる量を減らしています。
uncle coccoさん初見です。この人に丁寧に対応する事無いですよ。Our Country Lifeさんの去年11月13日配信の動画でゴミを川に流すなとイチャモン付けているので相手にしたらそんです。自然、農業を全く分かって無い人です。ただの荒らしです。
コメントが削除されたので再度言わせて貰うけど。ゴミは流してへん。ペットボトル、ビニール袋、空き缶や無いし、葉っぱのどこがゴミなん。植物やん、ほな君はご飯も野菜も食べへんの?他のユーチューバーさんにも同様のコメントしてるけど、何がしたいん?
